The dress code at the office I'm working at now is smart-casual but we're having a charity mufti day soon,I'm tempted to make the donation and turn up dressed and see what sort of reaction I get. What do you all think?

I think you should have others in the office pledge a donation if you come dressed. Then you can make your donation and earn even more for the charity.

Either way, I say, why not?

I agree with Donna. Have fun and help others.

I agree as well, it can't hurt. Plus you're doing a wonderful thing.

It is a wonderful thing for you to support charity. Maybe you can find some deserving charity to support every Friday.

I agree with Donna as well. Don't think twice, it is just a great, giving, caring act. I wish I could join you!

is a GREAT excuse to "dress up".

We are thinking of a sponsored "Wear your Wedding Dress to Work" day on the 14th.

One guess as to whose idea it was! :)

Sure why not.

It is breast awareness day on October 12th.

Maybe you could wear a bra with forms to show support for breast cancer.

Maybe its time we stopped promoting illness and started promoting health and wellness. Dedicating months and days to an illness is just plain crazy.

I think its great having charity days at work. Just be carefull that the money that is being raised is actually going somewhere where it will be doing some good.
