As a crossdresser in the closet we sometimes take risks with our dressing!
Do any of you girls have a story you can relate where you had a close call or embarrasing moment when you were dressed or getting dressed in your feminine atire?

I was stopped in a DUI checkpoint once.
As I walked down a street a guy yelled a rude comment to me.
Neither event was especially traumatic. I've had a few interesting moments while shopping in drab, but almost all of my crossdressing experiences have been very positive.

Emmi, A few years ago when my son still lived here (19 at the time I think) he came home unexpectedly while I was FULLY dressed and putting together a computer desk. Nowhere to run or hide, so I scrunched up reall small and tried to hide behind the desk, while wife distracted him. Hid in closet until he was in shower and made a quick change. Close one.

My closest call happened last spring. My wife volunteers all day every Friday. She always calls before she leaves at 4PM, and it takes her about an hour to get home so I usually have plenty of time to change back. On this day, I was working on taxes in the kitchen around 2PM when I heard the front door opening. I got up looked around the corner and saw her walking in. I quickly ran upstairs grabbing some clothes and headed for the master bathroom. I quickly changed and stashed the clothes in a closet corner, then went out and I met her in the hall walking toward the bedroom. She had left early because she was upset about losing her cell phone earlier in the day. Close! She eventually found the phone in the bottom of her purse.

Once i bought a pair of heels from payless and thought i had the right size when i left well i get home and they were a tad to big, so next day i take them back for an exchange while the store was slow. I get the right size and figure might as well try on at least one heel and so as i get it on and sure enough around the corner come the SA and says "just let me know if you need help finding anything." So there I was busted and now had to go check out with her but she didnt say anything so all wass good.

Not exactly crossdressing, but about 11 years ago I was doing some computer programming as a consultant at a major grocery wholesaler. I had been there for about 3 weeks. I was knee deep in thought about how to do some something in the database. Nature called and I got up and headed toward the restrooms. I walked along rather oblivious to everything around me, and made the corner walked down a hall, turned right and pushed opened the door. Hmm, thinks I, it sure smells nice in here today. Oh and look, isn't that a nice new pastel colour they painted the walls with, and .. wait a minute .. what happened to the urinals! Whoa! Oooops!
Slowly I turned, inch by inch, step by step, and stepped out the door. The gent's was on the other side of the hallway!

I was in a salon under a dryer when in walks a lady i knew just in passing. i quickly raised my magazine and hoped she left before my hair was dry. This is back when I had NO chance at passing (today it is a bit better,a better wig for one thing). Apparently she had just dropped in to change an appointment. WHEW!

I was dressed in fem jeans, fem t-shirt, forms, and heels as I was just coming up the stairs and the doorbell rang. Without even thinking I answered it and found two cops there wanting to talk to me and my son about an accident. It was only after talking to them for about 10 minutes that I realized that I was in heels and forms. They never said a word but when they were talking to my son in the car the one commented on "your dad's strange choice in footwear".

A couple of weeks ago, my wife contracted a middle ear problem which made her extremely nauseous. She got up in the middle of the night and, before making it to the bathroom, was down on all fours heaving violently. Naturally, I didn't hesitate and got up to assist. At the same time, our 24 YO son is up to inquire and sees me full on in my girliest pink-and-lace nightie. "What's wrong?" he says. "Can't you see, she's sick?" He returned silently to his room.
He doesn't know about Suzanne, or more accurately, hasn't been told about her. My wife was probably oblivious to my state of presentation, and I don't care anymore what my kids think. If he asks any questions, there's nowhere for me to hide, so I'll just answer honestly. It's time things got into the open.
