I been to the SRS websites looking at results for years and all of them are all pictures where the female is spread eagle and recently had surgery and are barely healed with a few perfect examples of perfect surgery results, most dont even show a Labiaplasty or if they do it just has been done and not fully healed. Most pictures I have seen do not look accurate to me compared to a genetic females vagina.

One place I spent a lot of time through out the years is Anne Lawrence's website. She has a lot of photos of surgerys but most of the photos to me do not look correct, mostly no Labiaplasty's, maybe I am a profectionest but I do want to be perfect as I can be if I go the SRS route.

I have been coming closer and closer in my life to start therapy but having parts that after surgery that do not look correct makes me want to just stay in the closet in fear of totally not being satisfied with having a SRS and having results I do not like along with big nasty scars. I am not satisfied right now as a male but at least I can pass perfectly because my parts look real and I dont have to worry about being with someone and having them notice something just doesnt look quite correct.

My question is there a different site that has pictures years later or after all healing is done where scaring has deminished and Labiaplastys have been done, I dont need spead eagle photos just real results after all healing is done?

Also is there a link or post I can read about therapists in the Milwaukee Wisconsin area?

I have looked at FFS results and I am not worried there. I have dressed as a Woman before and passed 100% but I would have to work on my voice and loose some more weight again.

You can PM me the links or anything else if you dont want to post it here.

I thank you for your help and I do appreciate this forum, it has helped me out in many ways since I have joined.

My suggestion is to research the surgeons and their techniques. They differ somewhat.

I would also suggest that when you are ready to make the final committment to SRS you will find girls who have transitioned are willing to show you; but you have to know them and they have to know you; well.

I know of other sites devoted strictly to posties and you might want to talk to some of them as well as our own people.

Very good question, I too have looked but could find nothing that impressed me....once on a porn site but it looked crooked.

I'd just as soon keep the male lower part and keep the female rest of the body.

I would rather have a "crooked" labia, than a "perfect" penis. But that's just me.

All doctors have their own techniques, and results vary from patient to patient even with the same doctor. There are no absolute guarantees on the final result, other than the right parts beng created and the unwanted parts removed (or, rather, altered to their new state.)

Well, truth be told, many of us are uninterested in placing photos of our genitals up on the internet. Aside from my lover and myself, the only people who have ever seen my vulva are doctors, nurses, and people catching a flash while I change clothes in the women's locker room, and I intend to keep it that way. IOW, don't be shocked that pictures of healed women are scarce (outside a porn site).

I daresay I'm pretty familiar with the subject, and I can assure you that there is tremendous variety amongst natal females. And yes, once fully healed, most of ours are well within the range of normal variation.

I've never heard of any post-op being outed by her genitals, and I'm aware of many incidents of someone having sex with someone post-op without realizing they were trans. Realistically, if your face, body, voice, and mannerisms are such that people consistently totally believe you are female, then a less than perfect vagina sure isn't going to make them think otherwise.

Honestly, if you'd rather live as a man than have a less than totally PERFECT vagina, then you are probably better off living as a man. Not because the surgeons aren't very good, but because your expectations may not be realistic, and you seem ripe for disappointment (if not here, then somewhere else). Also, you just don't seem too dedicated to the proposition if this is enough to dissuade you.

I've seen a recommendation for Gretchen Finke, Roger Northway, and Meredith Leischer of the Pathways Counseling Center in another forum.

Sorry, but I've never gotten the urge to take a picture of my vagina, let alone show it around for approval. I can tell you that mine looks just fine and I'm more than happy with the results. Just what do you want, an airbrushed Playboy centerfold vagina? If the fear of an imperfect vagina is enough to keep you in the closet, then you should stay as you are.

OMG! Karen that is sooo funny.... Glad you still have your sense of humour. IF I ever get to transition I think that will be the first thing I do... then put it on postcards....:D

I know.... back to my little corner... (The Capt. will let me out though...)

I never asked for a member here to post any photos, I asked for a website that has them or a place I can find them. And yes they are splattered all over the interenet for use for results to compare. Look at Anne Lawrence's website, there were many people that volenteered photos to help people out to make comparsions to decide on surgeons.

Wow I thought I would get some help, so far this forum is turning to a lynch mob, like I am a big joke, one person spits out a negative post and you all join in on it. I remember stuff like this back in elementary school.

If you got negative things to post keep the comments to yourself, if you got positive help please post away.

This site is for help isnt it, I didnt think it was here to attack people asking for help. Keep the negativeness to yourself.

I suggest you read the posts again and count how many negative replys there are. I, for just one, replied to you in seriousness even though I feel your priorities are a bit skewed if you are really TS. Or was that sentence, itself, negative?

When members point out an error in thinking, even if they do so using humor, they have a right to express their opinions. And if you choose to attack everyone(you made no exceptions in your last post) for what you feel is "elementary school" behavior, then you may be in need of lightening up a bit.

And in closing, all members have a right to express their opinions as long as they follow the forum guidelines in doing so. The only post that comes close to crossing that line in this thread is yours.

If they're splattered all over the internet, then why are you asking if they exist? I did tons of research before I had my SRS, and I had absolutely no problem whatsoever finding anything, including pictures.

You don't like my answer? If you think that was bad, you should see the stuff I went back and removed. I read your post and I was totally dumbfounded, I sat here shaking my head for 15 minutes trying to think how I could possibly respond to something like that, so don't expect me to hand you a lollipop.

I am not satisfied right now as a male but at least I can pass perfectly because my parts look real and I dont have to worry about being with someone and having them notice something just doesnt look quite correct.

Does that make sense to anyone? How should I respond to something like that?

So you're getting closer and closer to starting therapy? Here's a tip: learn how to drive before you buy the car. If the fear of an imperfect vagina is enough to keep you in the closet, then you have a lot of problems that need answering, because I don't think you have a clue.

I think the problem here, is simply the nature of the question you're asking. Reconstructive surgery is never a neat, clean, perfect process. So, to expect any of our own results to compare perfectly to someone born female, is expecting way too much. Part of this process is coming to an understanding of that. It's just not gonna look like the woman laying all spread eagled in Hustler magazine. We don't go for SRS, if we're not prepared to live with the results, because once the cutting starts things will never be the same again.

As for websites with later on healed photos, good luck. Anne Lawrence's is probably the best site out there for photos, but yeah most of them are either throughout the process or right after. Still, you might just try surfing the links you'll find. There's bound to be someone who's posted some later photos.

I think the pics on MarciBowers.com look very good, and she has statements by the postop patients too.

I know of several who had her do their work and they were happy with it. She is in Colorado Springs. She is a post op herself.
