I lost 20 lbs over the last 7 or 8 weeks, WOOHOO. Now my favorite denim skirt is too big and I need to find one I like as much, hard work. Any of you gurls had any mixed blessings like this lately? Hugs, Kathy

Yes, I've had those mixed feelings. I've lost about 25 lbs. since last Fall through diet and exercise. It hasn't affected my femme clothes sizes since I didn't buy any clothes until I was near my target weight (it also hasn't affected my appetite :D). But I find that all my male clothes that fit when I was overweight are now way too big and that I must buy new dude duds that actually fit, cutting into my fem clothes budget .

Hope you don't get ship wrecked, without that fat reserve you'll starve!

If I lost 20 lbs. because I needed or wanted to I would be so thrilled about it that I would not be to concerned about one skirt. Why not take it some place and it have it made smaller?

Or you could carefully taylor it yourself.
If you are going to be CD, you need to gain some skills with the needle and thread. My fat ass will probably always be a size 18 but sometimes the skirts or shorts I buy are too long for my liking. And at size 18, most "shorts" are as long as ghetto pants.
Worried your stitching will not be perfect? Who cares, no one is going to see the stitching

I'm down aout 50 pounds, my goal is at least another 100. Where can I find a nice pair of suspenders to hold my skirt up?

I've lost something like 55 pounds since I last went shopping (yay for sewing skills!). Problem now is I think there is more sewing thread on the outfits than actual material.....oh well....shopping anyone? :)
