I did a test over the internet today, in fact i did two.

They were to work out what gender your brain was. I was pretty sceptical but thought i'd give it a go. I answered honestly, and from the perspective of me in boy mode so as not to sway the test.

They both came out that i was female.

Have any of you come across these before? Have i been conned by some website or am i more girl than i thought? I know ive always felt different and i do have a feminine side (Obviously!) but never thought i would come out 90% girl. I have taken several of these quizzes for a lark. They all showed me to be more femme and guy. But since you sort of know what the right answer is you can fool yourself and the quiz object. Most psychology tests assume your not gaming the answers. In constructing such a test you need to ask many similar queries which are not as obvious as the questions I've seen. By asking the same questions different ways, one can eliminate most gamers. But then the test is quite long.

Does it make me less of a woman or more of a man if I don't remember my dreams, I like to solve things myself, all my drugs weren't obtained with a prescription, I'd be honest with someone about their weight (and I'd be honest that I kinda like chubby girls lol), and I don't keep in touch with many people I went to school with? Maybe it does...

Yeah. Most of those questions are sooooo obvious and sooooo silly.

It's true that I hate politics and sports, and I never watch the news, but isn't that bogus saying that it makes me more of a woman?

Guys like to do drugs and girls don't? I've run into a lot more strung-out females, actually.

And I absolutely do not agree that preferring fiction over non-fiction makes you more feminine. Nerdy guys LOVE fiction, while girls like to read magazines that claim to be non-fiction.

But I'm not trying to sound cranky. It's a fun test and all ;)

I took the quiz as honestly as possible and came out 67% female, similar to several others on the internet that I answered in the past. All test I found on the internet were not well made. It was easy to pick out the answers that would show a high female gender level. Does anyone know of a well made test for evaluating one's gender? It would take a couple of hours to complete, if it is created properly, and include questions to weed out responses that are guesses, or an attempt to intentionally alter the results.

I think that people like us are generally more compassionale, tolerant and understanding than the knuckle dragging intolerants out there. It's no surprise that we score high on the female side and lower on the male.

It would be lovely if that were true, but there didn't seem to be that many questions to give a proper answer.

I did a different one ages ago which had over 50 questions which also seemed to go into more depth.

It is a famous one, but I can't remember what it was called.

I think I got about 75% female!

That's a pretty cool test.

I'm surprised I got 25% in the female direction after saying I like to play Risk and getting 12 out of 12 on the rotating shapes test.

I'm not saying it's legitimate, but it's a lot better than some bogus test telling you that you're feminine if you remember your dreams and don't do drugs.
