I haven't dressed in a while and I am SO READY to...but I can't due to domestic stuff.
I'm home all day alone with a sick kid. The SO is gone, house is quiet...but at any minute the kid could wake up and walk into my room. So that means I simply CANNOT DRESS AT ALL!! I am so bummed...all I have is my memories and my computer (pictures, videos, etc.) for now. Waiting...waiting....
I have my next CDing adventure totally planned out. I just need a half day of my own time to pull it off. And with jobs, kids, activities...getting a half day to myself is almost totally impossible.

It must be very frustrating when you have other more important commitments that prevent you expressing this side of yourself. I know it isn't the same thing but have you ever tried a makeover website like tazz? Or is it taaz. You can spend quite some time playing about with different looks and no messy makeup to remove afterwards.
If someone comes in the room you just minimise the window.

Oh, yeah, I am all about Taaz.com!! It has saved me from making a ton of fashion "accidents" by teaching me all about colors and types of makeup. And so, so, SO much fun!!
My biggest thrill now is going to my YouTube page and watching my videos of getting dressed up. Most of them are from a business trip in which I had a large hotel room all to myself. Thank goodness for computers!!! Makes it easier to pass the time inbetween CD adventures.

Oh poor you do you realise how selfish that all sounds :Angry3: I'm sure your child isn't happy to be ill, and it's not as if you won't be able to dress at some later point, stop moaning and care for your child

I know exactly how you feel Dana. But, you gotta do what you gotta do.I'm taking advantage of some extended me time this week, and I'll make the most of it, because it's going to be a while before I get the chance again.Good luck with your kid.

As a stay at home mum, there's a LOT of things that I have to put on hold if my child is ill. If my child is ill, then SHE is the priority.

It's all part of being a parent.
