When I just started I was happy with just a few things at a time. Now...my absolute minimum whether I take pictures or just dress for myself is:

a dress or nightie or skirt/femme pants with top
panties
bra
forms
wig
earrings

pantyhose/tights, shoes, slip, makeup, other jewelry, etc... are all nice but not completely necessary...(special case is a leotard that must be worn with tights)
Feel wrong without at least these things...how about you all?

Now, unless a have at least 3 hours, I don't even start to dress.
For me, it's ALL OR NOTHING! ( I hope to outgrow this CD stage soon!):heehee:

I find that I enjoy just throwing on bra, panties, skirt or jeans, top and pair of earrings much of the time. I like keeping it simple and easy with minimal effort. However, when I'm taking pictures, thinking of going out or for a special occasion, then I'm much more particular by adding makeup, hose, more jewelry, etc. It's a much bigger effort to take it all off afterwards though.

Earrings, nail polish, bra, panties. Lipstick or gloss.

But then again, thats what I wear every day regardless :battingeyelashes:

I do not have any minimum requirements when I dress. I dress every day and am close to 24/7. I do not dress 'all the way ' every day but rather dress as a real female would and that means just casual attire most of the time. Of course I wear panties and bras all the time even in my rare moments of being in guy mode. It is all fun irregardless of the level of being dressed.

I used to keep a few items handy, for a "quicky", but lately, I only want to dress to the nines!

For me just wearing a wig, a girls top , stocking and a skirt is all i really need.
Sometimes i use make up but its not needed when i'm just at home.

Some of the best times have been wearing a bra and forms, some type of top, leggings and setting at my computer.

Alone at home, my minimum requirements are silk panties or tanga, nylon stockings, skirt and matching top or blouse, rarely a dress. But if I were to go out, which I haven't done except in the company of a professional dresser, I would want the whole works even including breast forms and suspenders.

Hey... I'm new here... have been a CD since I was 12..... not into the makeup.... and not sure I would take it beyond CD either.... its been far too long to feel guilty about anything or to feel like I'm "in the closet". anyway I should start a new thread about it. just wanted to introduce myself.... :o

I agree with you whole heartedly Cd Susan. The only thing I can't go without is panties, but I always dress for how I feel. Jeans and a cami or heels and a dress I am still a girl in either.:)

Yup, same here. I have to see a reasonably complete femme presentation in the mirror. This does have its downside in that "Quickie" dressing sessions don't work for me, it has to be the whole deal and this takes time.

I used to have no requirements, I would just wear panties and nylons and would be good. Now however I need to be completely hairless and dressed all the way in wig clothes and at least lip gloss. Hairless is the biggest thing stopping me from dressing more, I don't have very much time to get waxed, and once I do, its only a small window of time before re-growth occurs and is noticable (anyone know how to get around that with out electrolisis)

Bra, forms, panties, skirt, top, heels, wig. No makeup or padding. Just the basics makes me feel girly enough without all the fuss.

Lace panties and matching bra, nylons,a pretty cami and perhaps a garter belt.

It always has to include lipstick. I would rather go all the way, or not at all.

I like to wear a wig, panties, bra with breast forms, garter-belt and stockings. Recently, I have been sleeping in a bra with forms, panties, and a short silk gown.

Great question.
Way back when, I could "just" wear panties and pantyhose.
Now, when I get dressed up, I REALLY want to get completely dressed up!

Certainly panties, bra, skirt or dress, shoes if I'm going to be outside.

I don't feel quite right without breast enhancement (usually three sets of "cutlets")

When I'm going to be at a Starbucks, store or whatever I usually wear women's shorts instead of a dress or skirt.

Minimum??? Umm.. since I underdress every day I don't think I can honestly say I have a minimum requirement. Although, I did go home from work yesterday and got fully dressed (sans make-up) for the first time in like 6 months (according to my wife). I was wearing an OB Girdle with garters and stockings, LL Bullet Bra, panties dress (lovely cream color with floral design, short sleeve buttons all down the front, with beige one inch heels.

Every situation has its own requirements. Sometimes a quick fix of nylon is enough other times its bring on the falsies.

I guess I'm the exception to the rule, sometimes I am happy just wearing a femmine chain and pendant under my shirt, and of course panties. or just a touch of perfume will give me the femmine feeling I'm looking for. But then most often I will dress to the nines, when mood and time match up!

SHOES!! ok that might not count, I have a shoe fetish and just love high heels.. pantyhose or tights as well as shoes are a must then a skirt (panties, can't forget panties).. but all in all what really qualifies cross dressing for me is anything from the waist down.. I'm a half cross dresser.. sometimes.. sometimes head to toe and sometimes the room as well... HA-- CHA-- CHA--

I think at 65 I've been through every stage in CDing. Now just getting out for a walk in flats or low heels is great. Now I've discovered I like open toes in the cool night air.

Always shaved.
Workdays it is just panties and a cami under my work clothes.
Workday evenings is usually casual. wig, bra, top, shorts or skirt, perfume
Weekends it's all the way. Makeup and all. Let's go shopping.:daydreaming:

I underdress daily with bra, panties, and nylons so I guess that my minimum would be my forms and heels

It can be as little as a comfortable nightie to the full meal deal, depends on the day and mood.

It has to be the complete outfit, tights, bra, skirt, blouse and heels etc. I dont always wear make-up as no one else is going to see me.

I love to dress anytime.Since I like to raid Mothers closet, especially when she is gone
for a week, where I usually let myself into her house, feed&take care of the animals, then
just enjoy several hours,in her closet.I slide into a pair of suntan pantyhose, ordered off the Internet, then I just spend carefree hours, dressed in many of her good outfits, especially her good skirtsuits, with a silk blouse&her black heels, that is my secret
pleasure&hopefully,she has no idea?

You and I are pretty much of the same mind. I do prefer to apply at least some minimal makeup. It helps fulfill my mood.

I used to be excited to just wear one or two things, like wearing tights in the winter or my girlfriend's top when she wasn't around.

Once I started going out, I lost all interest in anything short of getting all dressed up and trying to look totally femme.

But lately I'm starting to settle into being more weirdly androgynous and wearing kinda girly stuff around town that doesn't stand out too much or even a little eyeliner. I wouldn't really consider that "dressing," though.

My "minimum requirements" are: eye makeup; foundation, blush, bra, breast forms, panties, panty girdle, pantyhose, skirt, blouse (or dress), heels, jewelry, lipstick and wig. In other words, what it takes for me to appear totally en femme!

Nail polish and lipstick. I feel absolutely naked without my lipstick.

Nowadays, it's the works or not at all. In my younger days, if there was not time to dress and make up completely, my minimum requirements were high heels (with pantyhose or stockings) and lipstick.
