Yep, didn't even get it cut or styled. And no I can't post a pic cause I broke my durn camera, rest assured though that I will be posting pictures of the " real " me soon. It's a big thing, I don't feel so much like I'm in disguise or in costume. It's the real me, another big step in transitioning. I'm about two or three weeks away from Hormones. Another weeks after that I will have put my ducks in a row to start hair removal. After that it's all down hill, I hope. Carol

That is a big step for sure, so good for you! I know that I loved my wig, but it's so much nicer going without it now, and it's much more comfy.

OMG! I never met someone who felt that same way I do.

I HATE going out in wigs, even though they look fabulous and come already styled.

I feel so phony and fake and in costume when I wear them.

I guess it's because I'm a light latina and not black. Most black GG's have no qualms wearing wigs and hairpieces and do it on almost a daily basis, and TG black girls do it even more.Alot of them are comfortable being bald and just wearing wigs.

I'm not. I love my long hair. I regret cutting it shorter though. I had it pretty long for a while and all of a sudden I felt like I was okay with wearing wigs, so I cut it short enough to put in a smaller ponytail so the wigs would fit better and now I regret it and I'm waiting for it to get longer again so I can hand my wigs down to my Transdaughters.

Good for you! The day I went full time all the wigs went in the garbage. I absolutely hated them! At the time I was living in FL and they were SO hot,
just awful.

CONGRATS!!! What a huge thing it is. Real hair makes all this feel so much more real and right. I hope I can keep mine for a long time.

Tessa misses her long long hair. All I got is this little ponytail and multiple wigs, half of which I don't even like.

Good for you Carol. I unfortunately cant ever be able to do that, Without them I look like a bald guy except to myself, I see a bald lady.

I have worn them for at least 8 years, 7 of them before I knew I knew I transexual, but I guess that was the reason i wore them ultimately. I have six, 3 red and 3 blonde, but mostly wear the red ones.

I have made it a habit to wear the same one to the same place, except where they know I am trans, I don't mind mixing them, blonde one time, red the other time. But everyone tells me the red ones are better, guess because its my own natural color. I am so used to them I feel naked without them. I never go out without one on my head.

I too am follicly challenged, but my real hair is long none the less. I love the feel of it, and around the house I'm au naturel. Unfortunately, a wig is a necessity if I'm going anywhere. Bald ladies attract even more looks than a 6 foot t-girl! You're lucky, girl!
