View Full Version : Lipstick Lesbian Experience...Awesome!
On Saturday, not only did I flirt with women dressed up as a nurse, I was dirty dancing with a very hot chick. She was looking at me suductivly as she moved to the music, we were flirting with our hands etc. This went on for several songs. This was a fantasy come true. Talk about a Lipstick LESBIAN experience... Awesome!
This experience showed me confidence is so important (wine helped). Women respond to it. I'm sure many women wern't INTO the crossdressed thing, but some were and those were the ones that made this night fun.
I was initially concerened about being tagged as a homosexual but people watch your eyes, they see what your looking at, and for me it wasn't guys. So many hot women to look at. Your vibe gets established.
I would have found this posting helpful before going out. I hope other striaght crossdressers find this post encouraging to get out and try this.
Bare in mind I was at a fetish night club.

Are you sure it was a real genetic woman you were kissing?
Hah! I didn't kiss her, and yes she was a girl in her mid 20's of petite proportions. There is and was no doubt to her authenticity. poke fun if you like though!

Just be careful, you can easily turn off a straight woman by implying she's a lesbian. Because in her mind, if she knew you were a cder, she may not have felt there was anything homosexual about it.

You can also easily turn off a gay woman by implying she's a lipstick lesbian. It's a mostly antequated term rarely used by queer women outside the LA scene, and it has negative connotations to a lot of femme women.

Yes, you're right on that one as well. I don't know any lesbians that refer to themselves like that and all seem to have a great distaste for it. But its something I never have to worry about, I never refer to people by their sexuality. :)

We have some inexpensive flites from LA to Vancouver. However, that mite be a bit like leaving Iceland for skiing at Whistler Mtn.!
A couple of things to append this thread:
Re. "Lipstick Lesbians" No offence intended, I simply thought the term described hot lesbians... many of us. That is lesbians that dress as beautiful women. I thought it was a cool term, but I'm in Vancouver, not LA.
If your interested, this is the event: http://www.myspace.com/sincityfetishnight

Just FYI...
The phrase "lipstick lesbians" has at various times been used to describe:
1) Feminine women who are attracted to other feminine women.
2) Female models and actresses (many of them straight) who portray lesbians in pornography for men.
3) Feigned or temporary lesbians, whose lesbianism is as easily removed as their lipstick. The implication being that they are not serious lesbians, and that they show no interest in lesbian causes or unity with the lesbian community.
4) Straight women who engage in mock lesbian behavior to attract men.
A lot of lesbian women (especially feminine ones) view the phrase as being derogatory. A much more commonly used phrase is femme lesbian, or just femme, although femme identity is really important to a lot of women, so I'd hate to see it being appropriated. So perhaps it's better that you just continue to use lipstick lesbian.
I agree, by definition as you mentioned is quite fitting for me. I like it. My attraction for women is never temporary but my portrayal of one is.
