So there I was at Burlington Coat Factory today, pawing through the racks, when a voice behind me asked, "What are you wearing?" I turned around and there were two cute girls, it took me a moment to realize what the question meant - she wanted to know what cologne I had on! "Fire and Ice," I stammered, "by Revlon." "Nice," she said, and as we returned to our shopping, I said, "You made my day." She certainly did!

Great response, I think I would have jumped 10 feet!

I would have had to explain it to the EMTs as they are reviving me from massive heart failure.

Yep, very casual in a khaki skirt and girly polo shirt, just one of the gals looking for bargains...

I always thought Joan Rivers asked "WHO are you wearing?"

Somehow I doubt if Joan Rivers shops at the Burlington Coat Factory...

You're rite, of course! I guess I'm too busy on line here, to watch enough TV!:heehee:

How about Joan at Goodwill? Digging thru the piles and racks of clothes. Now there's a funny picture!

Joan Rivers is that woman who looks like a monster cause she had too many face lifts right?

Anyways yeah if I was asked that I probably would have looked at them as if they were stupid and said "What?"

Always nice to be noticed for the right reasons. I was asked at a Target where I got my skirt by an SA, She was floored when I said "Salvation Army"

Then there is the old guy joke---

The woman sweetly asks the guy--"what do you have on that smells so good?" He coyly replies--"I have a hard on. I didn't realize that anyone could smell it.":heehee:

I've never bought anything at a Thrift Store, but I always shop for bargains, otherwise living two lives would be very expensive...that cologne I was "wearing" cost $14.95 at WalMart, oh and I did buy a skirt that day - for $7.95!

They were nice, but it wasn't so much a compliment as her wanting to know what scent I had on so she could try it herself!
