Name Questions

Hello everyone! Id like to lead off with thanking everyone who answers my posts. We are all aware at how confusing things can be, and how just a kind word and a little encouragement can mean so much!

I have been working on completing a personae for myself, and have come up against the topic of name... Originally, I had taken the name that was a feminized version of my drab one. After some reflection, I thought that it would be better to choose a name that had no relation at all to my drab one. Now, after posing the question of bank cards, debit cards, and ID cards, I am thinking it might be better to use one that at least shares the fisrt initial of both my first ans second name, so then I can sign as Initial, Initial, Lastname and not create any problems for either myself, the retailer, or the bank. Does anyone have any input on this?

My butch name is nothing like my name. For the ID's, cc and checks and such they have my butch name on them. Some state allow you to get an ID along with your DL, in this case you still have to use your butch name and all. The advantage is that when you go to get the new ID of yourself it's in total girl mode and thus you have a photo ID of you in girl mode. Yes it still will show your butch name, gender and all.

I choose my name based on several things.
1st: I didn't want anybody to be able to connect the two.
2nd: I thought about all the different girl names and how would I choose.
3rd: I thought about the gg's I did know and which ones I like as a person and not as a girlfriend. That's when I came up with my name. I knew several Sandras that were always fun to be with and they were very attractive. I wouldn't all them like the so called 10's by the runway standards. They carried themselves very well, they always had a smile, did funny things and their complextion was very beautiful.

The ID, even with the use of my fem name, still worked because all they usually look at is the photo and signature to see if it all matched

There are two things in life you can not choose.
Your family and your name. Both are chosen for you at birth.

Your name & the reasons & meanings behind it are something everybody learns to live with in life, except us, lol.

We get to choose our new female names & this is great because you get to know you before doing it.

My name has nothing to do my male name at all.
I would not limit myself to names that have the same letters as your male name & better try to think of a name that represents who this half/part/ect is as a person & what you, as her, would like to be called.
