So much to learn, but there's hope...

Ever since I realized who am I inside, I oscillate between 2 poles: happy to now have a goal in life (transition), but despaired when I think of all the things I need to learn.

Today I got a boost on the positive side. I had a makeover at a TS-friendly beauty salon. It was worth every penny. I now know that I can look good as a 40-years woman (see my new avatar picture). I know "passing" is not everything, but I think it's still a big part of transition.

Life is good! *giggle*

Life is indeed good! You look great in your avatar. 40? Unbelievable. It sounds as though you thoroughly enjoyed your makeover - they're fun with the right person. If you haven't had one, now you need a good relaxing facial. They're like heaven.

I can understand,there are a lot of things to think about.Possibly overwhelming at times with emotions in and out of different states.Its hard enough sometimes to just take that first step and say,this is what Im going to do.After that a whole new world opens up and there are many things to learn and new goals along the way.Its huge,it really is.Life is givin a shift and a new direction emerges which is full of decisions and obstacles.But it is also a relief knowing that in your heart you are doing the best for yourself.

Yes your avatar does reflect that you can look good at 40. Any age is a good age, it just depends on what we do with it. It looks to me as if you have many more wonderful years ahead of you. Enjoy them all.



At 60, I feel more alive and aware than I ever have and I still want to look good. This was my Halloween look, I didn't go anywhere because I worked on clients till late.
