View Full Version : I spotted another TGirl driving her car

Whenever I drive in Paris for several days (being en drab), I find that's not unfrequent that I can spot a probable TGirl driving her car, behind mine.

Today I am sure I spotted a MTF, because I have been able to observe her very carefully using the mirror of my car. It was a great instance of TG, apparently very confident in her passing. Of course she was passing, and she even looked great. However, she was a little "too much", more femme than almost any standard GG. All the feminine attributes she wore (too much)strikingly were "pushed" towards their limits.
Decidedly too much !
And finally I discovered the weak point. Because there was a significative weak point : the wig. It was a (too much) magnificent long redhair wig, and it was slightly misplaced revealing a characteristic feature of the male face !

There was even another weak point : her aggressive driving, the typical male driving aggressive mode. When aggressive, women do have another aggressive mode of driving.

Decades of observation in the traffic jams ...

Wow - never happened to me and I live in a very gender variant friendly place with perhaps proportionately more TG's per square mile than most places.

Forgive me - but perhaps you are wrong about this one ... because you dont know where she is on this wondeful continuum we inhabit.

She could have been a crossdresser who enjoys going "over the top" or TG / TS who doesn't give a whatsit for anyone elses perception and dresses for the occasion or just for herself.

So - perhaps there was no mistake at all. She might have just been happy to present as she wanted, not expecting to be judged as a failure.

I really must keep a better eye on my rear view mirror .. perhaps not .. I might hit the car in front!

Nadia, I have read other threads similar to yours lately. I would like to someday see another cd out and about where I live. This has not happened for me yet and is not likely to either since I live out in the middle of a great big Iowa cornfield! I can only imagine how different things are in a place like Paris.

I have never another T-girl out and about. Once in Wal-Mart there was a guy in a dress with no mack-up or anything.:hugs:

I drive around en femme occasionally (only at night time) and I'm guessing there are others doing the same. I must confess I don't look all that closely at other drivers.

As for GG's driving habits, I've got to say that my daughter drives like there is no tomorrow: whereas my son drives like he doesn't have to get there until late next week.

BTW speaking of wigs, I do rather like yours.

I like very much to drive en femme for long journeys alone on highways, it's less boring.
I do it occasionally too around home mainly to get a starting point for a walk en femme in the country.

I must confess I don't look all that closely at other drivers.

... but I do it only if the drivers are gorgeous women !!

More seriously, as a rule I pay no attention at other drivers ; and everybody seem to do the same, what makes so easy to drive en femme : nobody looks at you driving en femme on the roads.

En drab, I may pay attention to another driver, whenever for instance the other car will be very, very close (too close) behind mine, AND if there is something in the other driver's appearance most striking at first glance.

What makes so easy for me to spot a dragqueen or sophisticated TGirl. At first glance, you may believe it's a fantastic GG, due to the somptuous wig, at second glance you will be rather deceived !! But you don't know why you are deceived : so that you have to proceed to a careful examination, before to realize it's just another MtF.

We all should be comfortable in whatever we wear - in gal or guy mode, and satisfied with the results. You never stated if you too were in "girl" mode, but perhaps the Tgirl driving behind you was curious to see if you were passable. BTW, your avatar shows that you are very passable!

Today I was extremely lucky to spot still another CDer driving behind me !!

I was waiting at the red traffic light, when my attention was drawn by the bizarre striking earrings of the driver behind me. As a matter of fact, I furtively noticed a strange metallic shine so that I immediately looked more carefully at it !

They were huge spheric earrings shining in the light of the setting sun.
The driver was a young, rather androgynous person, neither well clothed nor with beautiful hair. So that the earrings were completely out of situation.

After a while, the driver seemingly noticeably disturbed by my careful examination, looked briefly in her mirror (to check her appearence ?) then smiled strangely (as she realized she was read ?) ...

N.B. I must precise that I'm a specialist of careful observing. I have been involved in scientific visual observations for most of my life.

I do remember ther first time I went for a drive dressed. It was very freeing, but hard to do in heels.

I drive or ride at least 5 days a week enfemme as I am in the process of transitioning into a full-time TG woman. However, my driver's license is still in my male name and photo. So in winter (where we typically get snow) I drive my Land Rover Discovery which ensures I won't get stuck in snow looking like a damsel in distress. My voice still needs working on. The Land Rover may not be an ideal chick vehicle, but it is my bad weather vehicle when I can not ride my Harley-Davidson.I get looks, but most are friendly waves or flirts.

RavenAndrea,

I recently bought a brand new 2008 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer which isn't exactly a chick car either but I love it and when and if it snows in Phila., I 'll be ready. My other car is a 1979 Malibu Classic , rear wheel drive but I don't drive it much in the winter now that its an antique. Before the Explorer, I had a 1996 Ford Crown Victoria LX,which I bought brand new also ( an upscale police cruiser,LOL) which is a great car but wasn't good in the snow at all. I gave it to my aunt but she doesn't drove when it snows.

I thank you very much for these interesting pieces of observation in your countries and areas.

By the way, I wish to confirm what all of the three of you wrote does not contradict AT ALL what I wrote.

I wrote :

... her aggressive driving, the typical male driving aggressive mode.
When aggressive, women do have another aggressive mode of driving.

Decades of observation in the traffic jams ...

Maybe it’s due to my poor english (sorry for being so ignorant in your mother tongue, even if do my best), nevertheless what my point was :

1) some men have an aggressive mode of driving , and this mode is well known. (However, not all men do have an aggressive mode of driving)
2) some women (but not all) have an aggressive mode of driving

3) The aggressive mode of driving of women (only those women who have an aggressive mode) do differ as an average from the aggressive mode of driving of men (only those men who have an aggressive mode).

4) I have carefully observed these differences for decades in traffic jams.

Of, course you may disagree with me, however what has been written has nothing to do with my point.

Because I never said that :
. either women are not so aggressive than men as an average,
. or they do drive not so quick as men, as an average.

Please read again my point and help me to translate it in Oxford english.

Thank you in advance. I would be very pleased to improve my english.

Finally, last but not least , Gina, the most striking weak point of the first driving CDer was HER MISPLACED WIG. Please read again.

Kisses to all of you

Nadia, I understood you perfectly. English is a difficult language for non-native speakers; the grammar and spelling/pronunciation is full of seeming contradictions. Even those of us who conduct our business in it daily make mistakes. I applaud your observational abilities. You've got me looking more closely at the occupants of other vehicles to see if I can spot another CDer. To my knowledge I haven't yet, so either there are few around here (likely the case) or the ones I have seen were so good I didn't realize they were faux women. Keep up the good work!

Many thanks, Tammi, for your warm empathy.

Most probably CDers are quite many here driving in and around Paris, because it is very easy to pass in such a big (and as a rule tolerant) town. Yes, Paris is a pretty "tolerant" place, and rather easy to live in when your are transgendered, provided you are just a little careful and thoughtful and avoid bad areas in the town or suburbs.
Moreover, as a CDer, you'd better always AVOID THE SUBWAY.

By the way, in decades, I never went en femme in the subway (and perhaps never would), and myself en drab I almost never spotted any CDer in the subway (still couldn't be sure they were either GGs or very well passing TGs).

On the other hand I have been able in a few cases, whereas remaining otherwise very secretely and deeply in the closet, to drive my car around Paris wearing breasts and wig (the first time it was more than 30 years ago, although I was able to really come definately out of the closet only from last year.

What means how easy it is (and maybe common) to drive TG around Paris.

It is wonderful to hear about this going on in France, in any other part of the world really. I am glad to hear and have what I hear affirm the belief that we are all part of a natural phenomenon and shouldn't feel strange about what we do at all.

No wonder I like Paris so much!! haha :)

Over the years I have spotted lots of us (members of the transgender spectrum) out in public. As a member of that community, when I am spotted, I don't feel badly that I have been "read." Rather, I feel good that someone noticed (and cared). As long as they are polite about it, of course.

Worst offender was a woman who screamed (yes, she did!) "THAT'S A MAN IN A DRESS!" when she saw me. (I was the only person around, so I'm sure it was me.) Worst of all, I wasn't even wearing a dress!:heehee:

Funniest was the drunk who asked me, "Are you real?" I didn't have any clever replies. I responded "Of course I'm real." After all, perhaps the poor sop needed to be reassured that he wasn't hallucinating!

Early in my crossdressing, I began to think I was getting to be quite good at spotting "sisters." We were everywhere; there were hardly any genetic women at all, in fact! Might I have set my "tranny radar detector" a bit too sensitive? :daydreaming:

By the way, in case you think you might have spotted me, I'm in San Francisco right now. Today, Sunday, I'll be at Grace Cathedral for the 11 am service. After that, it will be off to brunch, probably at Harry Denton's. I'll probably be in black and white checked pants and a black top. If you see me, come up and say "hi." I'm really very friendly!

Sincerely,
Rikki

You maybe an extremely observant person Nadia. Not questioning that fact. But to be 100% certain of a tranny spotting via a car's rear view mirror stretches my imagination. I don't doubt the ability to spot a wig. My first wife was a beautician and able to differentiate quite well between great hair and great wigs (even falls and add ons). I do see an occasion CDer or Tranny here in this part of Texas. This area has quite a number of TS and CD persons. But they are not all easy to spot with any certainty. I think many of us are less readable at a distance than we think. Up close is a different story. Perhaps you are more sensitive.

Hugs Edyta

PS: If you had not mentioned NOT being a non-english speaker, I would have never have known. I wish my German, Dutch, or Spanish was nearly as fluent. It is more the "gets by" level.
