I have just finished getting ready, a Dress Suit, ankle boots well you get the picture. I just finished my make-up, and had a final look as you do, I then looked again and staring back at me was my Mother! I just wonder who you think you take after, Mother, Sister, Aunt? I just did not know how much I resembled my Mother.

Just thought I'd ask, with love,
Lesley Ann:doh:

I probably most resemble my sister when dressed up, but not a striking resemblance. We don't look that much alike with me in boy mode either...

I was told by my mother that I looked a lot like one of her cousins, but looking at my moms picture, I look like I could be her sister

When I am finished dressing I see Marla. She doesn't resemble anyone I've ever known. That is the exciting part of it! When I'm Marv I still have some characteristics of Marla because I love being female very much, but the essence of Marla still doesn't come out until I'm fully dressed. She is probably a combination of many sexy somewhat ****ty women I have known but nothing like any one person. How's that for complicated! Marla

No one in my family, that's for sure. Neither my mother or sister like to dress up very much. I have far more feminine clothing tastes than either of them.

Since I'm out to my mother, this has lead to some funny moments. For example, a few weeks ago was my parents annversary, one of the rare occations my mother dressed up, and she had to borrow one of my hairbands since she had nothing to wear in her hair. LOL!

I just pretty much developed my own look, on my own. That's all.

In looks I take after my Mother. In attitude I take after my Grandmother. Scary combination sometimes.:)

About it for me, except I see Erin instead of Marla...

I don't have a sister but I sometimes see hints of my father's sister when I'm dressed.

I have a strong resemblance to my Mom whether I'm dressed or not. I also look a lot like her brother when I'm in guy mode, unfortunately including the shiny pate.

My other sister, not the one that was not younger than I am, the one that was older than me. But only sometimes.
Sadly, she never knew what a minskirt was/is/ could be.

It wasn't until I tried dark hair that I realized how much I look like my mom. Mom had dark hair (before it turned gray) and my natural hair color (what's left of it) is blonde. When I put on the dark hair, it was almost as if my mother, God rest her soul, was looking back at me in the mirror. I still think blonde is my color but I'm having fun with my new look too.

I'm a spitting image of my dad from when he was my age. So, I'm very thankful I don't look anything like my mom, and my sisters take after their own mom.

I would say that I look like my mother when she was my age , she always wore the smart suits , heels etc and I often look in the mirror and see her looking back at me. The hairstyles maybe different , but I can see her in me.

Since she was my twin, I have no real choice to look anything but like my sister ;)

Everytime I look at my avatar I see her.

I was dressed up a little while ago and after putting on makeup and a wig I looked in the mirror and saw my Mother looking back. It freaked me out but then I saw the upside: Mom was better looking than my sister!!!

Even as a male my wife (now ex) said that I looked, acted and spoke like my mother although, emotionally, I am much more like my father.

I look alot like my mom which is Ok. She was a classy lady.
Not dressed I look like a skinny version of my dad. Makes sense to me.
Alittle off the subject when I first showed my daughter a picture of lynn her comment was "at least I know I'll still look good when I'm old". "old????"
Compliment or recognition of my age. Hmmmmmmmmmmm
btw, she looks just like me, only pretty.

I resemble my mom some, shapely long legs, and facial structure, but tried an auburn wig, and looked more like my sister. I am way, bigger, though. The pic isme, looking like my sister.

I look like my older sister June, there's no way you could take us for anthing but sisters. She's my best friend and has always been supportive of my CDing, helping me with clothes, makeup etc. As I've said elsewhere I honestly don't kmow what I'd have done witout her help. No girl ever had a better big sis!

I'm not physically built like any of the women I'm related to, I'm much slimmer than any of them. My dad was always very skinny as he was growing up, and I resemble him to this day, only with more facial hair, he can't grow his at all. Ignoring the facial hair, if I were to get dressed completely, I don't think I'd look like anyone I know. Perhaps a bit like my sister, we're both red-heads.

I think I look like my mom...I can remember the first time I got totally madeup at a makeover service...I told the lady that did my makeup that "I look like my mom!" LOL

My daughter told me once un prompted that I look like her too!

 When I dress - I am me, JennieCD and only JennieCD. I dont pretend to be a movie star or anyone else. I am proud of myself and how I look - remember I am an older person (though everyone says I look in my early 40's - unfortunatly all the comments have been as Jim, but when I do come out - they will be comments towards me. I love the way I look and again just can't wait to come out and show the world. Remember we are who we are and not anyone else. Hope that made sense. JennieCD
