View Full Version : What have you done while dressed?

Shannen

I would like to post a poll regarding what activities you have done while dressed. I think that some may be suprised by the number of responses for various activities that they think the could never do themselves! I hope it gives encouragement to those that need that extra little push...

If you are happy staying in the bedroom, please say so! There is nothing wrong with that!

Just normal stuff typically.. Shop... Lots and lots of shopping... Eat at resturants.. Drive.. Casinos... What ever you normally during a 24 or 48 hour stretch.. Took a morning bike trip on a local rails to trails path. Sight seeing... Been to the movies enfemme.. Did I mention shop? Hahaha.

I also worked a couple days enfemme.. Out in the field when I didn't have to meet anyone I knew.. Checking out sites for a river loading facility.. That was a hoot.. Did some industrial espinioge enfemme.. Spying on the competition!! In disguise!! Lol. And of coarse there shopping!! :)

At home when dressed en fem I have done just about all there is to do , cleaning , laundry , cooking , computer , television and so on.
I do not pass so, in the real world I mostly under dress , and I have done all the normal things like work working on heavy equipment and trucks , mowing lawns and yard work , driving across town and interstate , motorcycling , dining out , movies , plays , music and so on.
And best of all I am content and happy with myself !

For me a better question would be what HAVEN'T I done dressed. Going to work and going to family functions are about the only things I wont do dressed these days (by that I mean dressed in woman's clothing. I generally like to be "dressed" when I'm out side of the house or around others. LOL!).

Mostly do what every woman would do shop,go to the movies, eat out at restaurants do errands and go shopping at VS for new bras and panties.

I'm with Karren. Shopping, eating out, shopping, driving around town, shopping. And did I mention shopping?

Going to work dressed might be a bit tricky, but shopping is always in the cards. :)

One of my answers was : "I go anywhere I want to while dressed".
Yet it must be precised that I don't want to go out as a rule, and most of time I prefer stay at home.

As a rule, I prefer to do what I want, than not to do it. Because I like the situations that are simple.

Great responses! Now if we extrapolate these findings to the general population that would mean that 73% of all shoppers crossdress! :heehee:

When I was in my mid to late twenties I could actually pass as a girl I had long hair and good features + my wife did my make up. Now I think I would scare someone If I went out dressed

If anyone goes out at all then yeah driving en femme is necessary...

But for me - CD groups, sometimes clubs, shopping.

So ummm, on Halloween when I go to work dressed, will that count as the costume party since we are having a halloween thing?

Boy I don't know what I am getting myself into this time...

I've only stayed in the house alone while dressing feminine, I haven't even gone outside at all.

That will change this Halloween, though.

Oh, just the usual. Get up, get dressed, drive to work, work most of the day, shop, eat, maybe go dancing, shop, go home. Then, like Karren, I like to go shopping, and shop a bit more.

On the days I don't work dressed, I get up, get dressed and go shopping, to the movies, maybe a bit more shopping, or teach a makeup class. Then I may shop a bit more.

Since I work dressed, I do everything you would imagine a woman would do, it just takes a little longer.

Your sis, generally shopping,

I've been out for dinner, been to a club and I've even been grocery shopping. The one thing I haven't done but would love to is to go shopping and trying on clothes en femme. I shop for my wife, with her and by myself, but I've never been able to get up the nerve to shop while dressed.

Wow, MQ. Sounds like u have lived every CDs dream! Going out dressed to the market doesn't sound like great fun to me! ( Not that I'm brave enough even to do that!) I think going on stage dressed, mite be a bigger motivator than going out to buy a loaf of bread and liter of milk!:heehee:

There are still some things that I haven't tried or done much while I am dressed, but since my most recent trips out, I have felt much more confident to do just about everything I would in male mode.

I don't just stay in the bedroom. I do have access to the whole house while no one is at home or before they get up in the morning. I get up a couple of hours before anyone else does, so I am able to wear my bra and my "girls" until its time for them to start getting up. have been busted on a few occasions by the wife. When it is dark outside, I will go outside in the front yard to put bills in the mail box or get mileage off of the cars. I have driven, but not totally enfemme, but with bra and the "girls" to work, usually under the cover of darkness. This past spring, drove from my town to another town down the interstate, 2 hours away in broad daylight. That was a rush!! Hven't done that in years.

I used to go out now and then , but more recently I have been happy enough to simply be myself around the home and doing the laundry , housekeeping etc also added to that I am free to work from home so I am able to incorporate that into my dressing . I would say in general I am dress more inside the home than out though.

I go bike riding with the girls. and conveniently enough they're the ones who encouraged me to let my femme side out. we took a group pic a while back & all the husbands that saw the pic who hadn't met the rest of us thought the 6'2" gal was the guy. seems I blend in very well. :D

Meadowqueen, that must be fun. Thats what I'd like to do, (although in the band that I'm trying to get together it would be more like Twisted Sister than being dressed fully en femme), but that certainly would be fun to do sometime, but probably my best chance of doing that would be if there was karaoke on Halloween!!

One thing I'm considering is Adult (tranny) films.

So far I havent been out of the house when en femme, (I've only worn stockings and panties under my jeans and other man clothes). Now that summer is here in Australia, I'll be hanging out the washing and doing housework while dressed in corset and fishnets, makeup, etc, and not give a damn what the neighbours think. (I just hope I dont freak out their children). Now that I'm getting some sexy corsets and stockings, I'm feeling confident about moving about in my (big) backyard, without caring, so as soon as I get the makeup right, to pass better as a woman, I'm quite likely to start properly going out. I'm really hanging out to go to a local tv club/support type event but there arent any that I know of yet in Adelaide.

I guess I've mostly been to clubs, meetings, and restaurants en femme. People know I'm weird when I'm shopping for girl stuff, but I don't feel the need to shop en femme. Restaurants are kinda private, though, because you're really just there with your friends, ya know?

I guess I'm saying I get out a lot, but I don't feel like it takes a lot of guts considering the places I go.

It would be easier to list what I don't do while dressed. Or maybe, what I haven't done!

Having been a CD for well over 60 years, and married to a very supportive wife for 49+ of those years, there aren't too many places I haven't been too, or activities that I haven't participated in, while totally enfemme!

Not being good with makeup or wigs, prior to marriage I went out dressed enfemme, but as a man! Now that my wife has passed on, I do the same. I shop, go out to eat, and do all sorts of other things dressed as Stephanie. It is who I am, and I like it!!!:):)

I love to go driving while dressed. It means I do have to go out into my driveway en femme but thats kind of fun. While I'm driving I see many people and they see me but no one knows I'm in a skirt, heels, hose and bra.

I haven't ever gone out of my house, and I rarely leave my bedroom fully dressed, except for late at night when no one's around, and then only at my family's house and only if I need something from another room. I've gone places and done things underdressed several times. The day after I first got my own lingerie, I underdressed to two different tests, all of my classes, and work.

As I've said in, like, half of my previous posts, I don't have any proper clothes yet, so I couldn't go out dressed even if I wanted to. But if I could and did, I'd just look like a man in a dress (more likely in a skirt). I'm built small enough that I could pass with some decent forms and a shaping panty, but the full beard kinda gives me away, as would the hairy legs, arms, chest, etc.

So far I havn't gone any farther then my front door. But the more I read about others experiences, the more I think about doing "more". I am starting to consider going for a drive while "underdressed". I highly doubt that my first time( if/when I do it) will be in my local area. I am just to nervous about someone seing me. On the other hand I do have tinted windows. :heehee:

If I ever do go out of my house, you ladies will be the first to know.

I have not done much en femme, just:
Gone to support/social groups,
Gone shopping at the mall,
Got stopped at a DUI checkpoint (I was sober and quickly sent on my way,)
Been to straight and gay bars,
Rode the city bus and streetcars in San Francisco,
Gone to my local Starbucks,
Had my makeup done,
and I still regard myself as pretty much in the closet.

While I am not full time, there isn't much that I HAVEN'T done. I have flown quite a few times, gone to sporting events, I have spent sixteen days full time in one stretch. I have done lip syncing on the stage twice and Karaoke at a club in Las Vegas. I have never had a negative experience while dressed. If you are courteous and confident and respectful, and demand the same from others, it is not necessary that one pass! What ever that means?

I pretty much do anything and go anywhere.
In the two years I've been dressing I've done a ton of things:

Flown in femme
Gone to the movies
Gone to the beach
Volunteered at a community event
Walked the streets of New York City
Enjoy the street festival in Little Italy
Rode the NYC subway
Rode the black car service
Participated in various Pride events
Been to straight/gay clubs
Shopped at various malls and grocery stores.
Ordered in at a McDonald's and a KFC.
Drove long road trips
Dined out at highend restaurants with a close and personal GG friend
Gambled at the Hard Rock Casino
Sang Karaoke
Gone dancing
Attend various transgender conferences
Obtained a female ID
Applied for Khol's credit card with my femme ID and got approved
Got a makeover at Sephora
Attended many support and social groups.
Attended various theme parties (i.e. Halloween) and gatherings.
Shop at Victoria's Secret all the time :heehee:

There's too much to list. :)

Hugs!

For the most part, I just stay at home. But last month, having nothing to do, I decided to go out for a ride, while dressed up. It was my first time out, ever, so I decided to play it safe, and go in very late at night. So far, so good. But I kind of forgot that my car tends to get a lot of attention. Pulling up to a stoplight next to me were a couple of guys, and I could feel the eyes staring at me. I get the 'Hey lady, nice car!' but don't have the courage to turn sideways and look at them, I knew they would have me made in an instant. So, foolishly I took off as soon as the light turns green. Mistake; they think I want to race. This goes on for three more traffic lights, I'm mortified that some cop is going to pull us all over, so I pull into a fast food drive through after they pass me, hoping they won't come back. They don't. I'm sweating bullets. So now I have to order some food, I know I'm going to have to face someone and I know they have cameras on the cars driving around the building in the drive through lane. When I get to the window, the girl looks at me and giggles a little when I look at her and pay, and as she hands me my change and my food, nicely says 'it's o.k.' to me; I'm struck speechless; I try to move my mouth a little, but can't make a sound. I smile weakly, take my food, give her a stunted wave with my fingers, nod ever so slightly, and go. My heart was pounding, the lump in my throat felt like it was the size of a watermelon. I carefully drove home, took a very long hot shower, and then collapsed. I never ate my food.

Most of my outings are in the evening. I try to get a group of girls together and do dinner and dancing. So I go to different restaurants and we try different nightclubs / dance bars when I do go out. Sometimes if it is early enough I get a little shopping in while dressed. Looks Like I'll be able to do that this coming December!! The seminar ends mid afternoon, so I'll get a little shopping done 'en femme'!!
Christmas shopping as a girl.... could be interesting!!

Gosh, more like what haven't I done while dressed ! I answered "I go anywhere I want to while dressed" because that's what I actually do. I go wherever I want to and do things a woman of my age might do. Often (but not always) my wife is with me and we go out as girlfriends. The places we go most are restaurants for dinner and shopping at the mall. Then there's various events with our TG group the River City Gems (http://www.rivercitygems.org/) like socials and whatnot.

I guess the the last time I did something that was quite a thrill was when my wife and I were bridesmaids for a wedding (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91057). I had to go to a bridal store for a fitting ... en femme of course. There were several GGs and their daughters in the boutique. I felt a little bit nervous about getting read but in the end only one older lady gave me a "knowing smile" :D

Gosh, I love all the responces to this question. For me, I do so much more now then I did 5 years ago and the reason is becasue of reading what my "sisters" are brave enough to do themselves. Shopping now is a joy, not a nervious experiance. And the friends Jenny has made out in the real world, well, I cant tell you how much joy I get from another women engaging in conversation with me as Jenny

This post is not a compition.....I do more as a girl then U do, it is a chance to help another girl grow in her confidence, to enjoy who she is and accept yourself for that person.

I have been going to chat rooms now for about 6 years, and I want to thank girls just like you who have helped me grow through seeing their experiances. Because of seeing what you have done I have gained the confidence to be all I can be as Jenny. I only wish I would have had this oppertunity 30 years ago.

It is appropriate that this is Thanksgiving, Thank You All so much.

For me a better question would be what HAVEN'T I done dressed. Going to work and going to family functions are about the only things I wont do dressed these days .

Same goes for me too, but even at work I do push it for that's my own hair. I have left work in women's jeans and a casual top under my jacket, my foundation on so all I had to do was change my earrings, jacket and finish my make-up. The fear of losing my job is the only thing that stops me from coming out to work. Some of my family knows and many of my friends. It just feels so right so why hide it.
