i've been stuck on something about my future transition. a trachea shave and facial hair removal are both necessary for me. my question is, which should i do first? if i do the hair removal after the surgery, would there be any adverse affects?

hey girl!! I think most people would tell you that hair removal should be started as soon as you can - it's a long process that takes awhile.
There's probably a short healing period after the trache shave but it probably wouldn't interfere with any ongoing hair removal - your doctor will definitely tell you how to handle it if you ask.
good luck,
kara (nearly beardless!!) :D

Hair removal will take longer than you think so start that now. I began with Laser two years ago and am still doing electrolysis to finish up- and I was rather sparsely haired to begin with!
Sometimes I get paranoid about my "Eve's apple" but when I'm speaking it rises up out of the way and isn't so obvious. Just don't go around with your chin up! :D

Unfortunately, Teresa, mine is very prominent. There is no hiding it. Ok, so I definitely should start hair removal first. Thanks!
