i was watching the news this morning and they mentioned Sarah Palin "costumes" are going to be popular this year for Halloween. i know Halloween is a good excuse for some people to crossdress. so, how many people here are going to put on some Palin this year?!

Amazing idea Chas. Here is a link to Sarah information. And 739 photos--so anybody can get an idea of her style. I rather like the black skirt with the no-collar red jacket. It looks a little like PVC or maybe leather. Don't forget the hockey stick and lipstick on the pitbull. Be sure to pull your hair back and get the squared-off rimless glasses. ($4.99 at Family Dollar).

You don't think, given the amount that's been spent on her wardrobe recently, that it might get a little expensive? :heehee:

I wouldn't want to wear a costume that would frighten people that badly.

I know that traditionally Halloween costumes are supposed to be scary, but don't you thing this is going to extremes?

That hairdo!

Katie BThat is scary. But she is a beautiful lady. Billie Jean

I might pass for Madeline Albright or Golda Meir but Sara Palin would be a huge stretch for me.

Hmmmm....I just might do it. Been practising! The hard thing are those little jackets she wears. One thing a big Tgirl like me can't pull off are jackets with shoulder pads...still trying to find a buisness woman type top at da mall for Friday night.

I was at a very large Halloween party this past weekend with a few thousand other party-goers ... and there was only one Sara Palin there ... ???

I'm not so sure just how popular that costume will be ...

I see you have very few real answers so far regarding your question with out political overtones.
I tried talking my SO into going as Sarah, she's great looking also like the real deal and can easily pull off her look. She's however just not interested in going out period, that's to bad. Still not 100% sure if I can put an outfit together fully myself yet but trying hard to as really want to get out.

If I was going out I would love to dress as Sarah Palin. She is a beautiful woman. Politic's aside, she is to be admired for her dressing and the way she carries herself.

Several nights ago Jay Leno had one of his one-liners about a Sarah Palin Halloween costume saying nobody could afford the $150,000 for the costume.
