Well, I went to a salon yesterday and had my makeup and nails done. I wore a short miniskirt (pink and brown plaid), a pink t-shirt (with Obama Mama on it), my brown wig, and tennis shoes. Unfortunately, I guess I didn't shave as well as I should have because my beard did seem to show through the makeup. OMG! Anyway, off I went to the Avenue store. It was quite crowded so I went to a Payless nearby. I had seen this pair of heels -- really high -- in size 12 for only $7. They were still there, so I tried them on to be sure, and they fit great. So I bought them and wore them out of the store. The girl asked if I wanted to have the sensor removed, and I said, "Please." I know my voice wasn't very feminine, so I am sure they knew I wasn't female. Oh well. Then I drove across the street to a store that I knew carried large sizes, and just browsed around. I didn't have much money so I was just shopping. I did see some cute things, so I may go back there to look again. Then I drove back to the salon, had a few pictures taken, and changed back into my regular clothes. All in all, it was a relaxing and satisfying outing.
