A photographer that makes statements with his artwork, but this one caught my eye the most! :) This is me!

That's a great picture Scottie, thanks for sharing it with us. I'm sure my brain looks just like the one in the picture. My thoughts are totally preoccupied with feminine things 24/7. I've become dysfunctional in all other matters. LOL

:hugs:

Stunning photograph, yet unsettling. What do you feel when you look at it? There seems to be yearning, pain, crouching in fear, in spite of the beauty.

I don't know ... Definitely a cool concept, but a split-open skull doesn't strike me as the most beautiful thing in the world. It reminds me of Ray Liotta eating his own brain in Hannibal (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0212985/).

I think I agree with Valerie- the more I look at it, the more complex it looks.
But, maybe thats the point. Dont we all feel some of those things she expressed at times, as well as the joy the ability to express our true selves gives us?

a split open skull is a metaphor for looking inside his head only to find a woman.

That's an artistic statement if I've ever seen one, just a more modern day artist is all.
