hey! haven't posted fur AGES, just had a thought yesterday reading a thing.

it always bothered me to read the acronym MTF, because it begins with M! the little sting of a reminder. does FTM, MTF bother you in that way?

i prefer when people use the terms transfeminine or transmasculine when talking about gender expression, because 'trans' by itself has no specific gender association, its kind've a word thats been taken back and i can identify positively as trans but MTF grates on me a little.

any thoughts?

I must admit...when I saw your title I thought you were talking about *ahem* development...:o...I guess MTF doesn't bother me if I'm transitioning as there still is M there...:sad:...post SRS I wouldn't use it ever again...:2c:
