transpeople employed by the Peace Corps?

I was planning on joining the peace corps after i graduate from college and do that for a couple of years. i know it's technically a government job, but i was wondering what their policy is towards transgendered people. from what i've heard, the people involved in the peace corps are generally very nice and wouldn't have a problem with it, but i wanted to make sure before i completed my the application process. it's a lot of work. and i don't want to wait to be denied.

I know nothing about it but, have thought that would be a nice career change at some point. While they may not have a problem with it, some of the places they serve might not be the case. I think we have one member from the middle east that indicated pretty bad consequences if caught cross dressing in public.
