I did it! My first solo makeover

Well - although I get many makeovers in salons and by GG friends of mine, I have never (believe it or not) ever done myself up from head to toe. I have dressed occasionally, or done my nails, but never my own makeup.

After some peer pressure from a few members here (you know who you are :)), last night I attempted my very first solo makeover. I have a huge tackle box of makeup that I carry with me when I get makeovers - so last night I dove into it and here are the results, for better or worse :D

As you build your confidence, you'll get faster and know what techniques work for you. Take the time to experiment and try all sorts of things... Experimenting is the fastest way to learn makeup. :)

Wendy - I am not 100% sure, but it took me about 30 minutes for makeup, about 30 minutes for nails, 20 minutes to dress, and 45 minutes to take pix.

Cindy - thanks, I believe in being comfy and picking out things to wear that I would like to see GGs in. Of course, I have worn some uncomfortable things for some of my pix too....

Dana.... you know I haven't been here much.... too much going on at home. But I love the pics :D You have done a really good job of the make-up. Just one little suggestion, use a tad less blusher, or blend it in a bit more (I'm refering to the 2nd pic on post 37). Remember, dab the brush in the blusher, and tap the brush a couple of times so it removes excess amounts of powder.
