After a Saturday night out as Robyn I woke up Sunday morning, took off my makeup and nails and went out to have breakfast with the family.

Later, I went back to my bathroom and there was a box of makeup remover wipes with a note on them saying "You need these more than I do, look at your eyes" signed by my 17 year old daughter. (Yeah I did a poor job of taking off my mascara!).

Later that day I got her out of the house and we had a long talk and she said that finding out about Robyn finally cleared up a lot of things she had not been able to explain, like makeup in the bathroom that was not her mothers, strange clothes in the closet and why she saw me once with toenail polish.

Though she has not wanted to see Robyn or Robyn's pictures, we have been prom gown shopping together (we both bought gowns at the JC Penny summer prom gown sale hers was $15 and mine was $19) and shopping for other things as well.

Anybody else been busted like this? How did it turn out?

I have an 18 yr old daughter that I'm thinking about coming out to soon. She has come out as a lesbian and is a very accepting person. I even kept her secret as a lesbian fronm her mother for a while.
My 3 daughters are so important to me. I really hope they will understand.

Several years ago, my daughter saw an identical pair of shoes to my wifes but in a larger size. She asked my wife about it and my wife tried to play off but eventually outed me to her. I havent outed myself to her but have made plenty of hints to her. I think the kicker was teaching her how to walk in her first pair of heels with out actually showing her. LOL, when told by my wife, she says to her, "so, thats why daddy's face is always clean shaven when I get home." (from sleepovers)

Yeah Rachel I hear you about the shoes.

On a similar note, one bit I failed to include in the story was that about 6 months before she busted me she was getting ready to go to prom and wanted her mother to help her with her makeup. Her mother is not much of a makeup person so I volunteered to help her. All my daughter's makeup was junk so I went and dug out my makeup and did her up with very dark sultry eyes. That was one of her epiphanies when she found out about Robyn. She wondered where all that makeup came from she did not think her mother had that much makeup.

When my daughter was about to get married I more or less proved that when I had confessed that I was a cross dresser shortly after she had turned 18, (She had thought I was a homophobe because I occasionally told gay/lesbian jokes, Hey I'm a trucker).
Any way, as she was getting dressed, she called me in and asked what the little blue lace band was for, (Garter!) So I told her, and since she didn't have any stockings or thigh-hi's I ran out to the truck and got her one of my new pairs along with a garter skirt to wear them with and helped her get the items put on as she had never worn anything like that being a tom boy. And then she needed some bobby pins to secure her veil, and daddy had them in the truck too.
Now that's a new twist to something(s) borrowed!:GD:
