Any ladies like to wear perfume? If so what are your choices and for what ocassion?
Reason I ask is the fragrance I use to use is no longer available. I know that most of the world is so damn politically correct, you shouldn't use perfume it causes allergies to some. Well thats like putting a red cape in front of this bull!!!! I mean cow!!

I like Shalimar. I makes me feel very feminine.

I'd say mine is Envy for her. I'm also partial to Bvlgari for him, has a nice androgynous smell that I can wear dragged or drabbed. I'm sure it smells nice, once you get past the cloud of pack-a-day smoke. So much for being politically correct.....

Summer:

Several years ago, I liked Tatiana by Diane Von Furstenberg. Since I was single then, while at home, I would spray it on all my femmwear. At the time, I was also involved with a very sexy, erotic redhead and that was her favorite. So naturally, it was a well-used aphrodisiac for me...when alone as well as when with her.

Perfumes help define and add to the making of a lady! It applies to us as crossdressers. I wish I could wear it more often. As a substitute, there are some perfumes that offer fragrances for both sexes.

Depending upon how I feel or where I am going my 3 are:

Alfred Sung - Forever
Givenchy - Organza Indecence
Stella McCartney

Whenever my wife and I are at the mall, which is several time a week, we try the different perfumes. We both spray the same one on our wrists to see what they are like on us. There are a whole bunch that don't smell good on either of us and very few that do.

I have extremely limited experience, ahem...let me rephrase that. I have no experience with perfumes, but it's cool to have this thread evolving because I am getting plenty of ideas. ;)

I will be doing a major shopping assault prior to MaddyFest 2004 next month (of which you're all invited), so I will take my little notes right straight up to the perfume counter and try me some of dat good stuff, lol...

Thanks for all the suggestions, keep 'em comin'...

Hi Summer,

This is a new one. Usually it's you advising me.

Well, I'm not going to advise you. Just going to say that I was thinking about perfumes last week and I've decided to go for 'Paris'. I would assume you can get it in the States. I have not bought yet, as I only made the final decision to get it Saturday evening & not had a chance to go shopping yet.

It's not cheap (as you will probably know if you can get it), but I used to buy it for my first wife and I love the smell of it.

Hugs & Kisses,

Rachel

It fun to have the shoe on the other foot, is it not? I have not been shoping yet, now I have my list and will pop in for a smell-a-thon. And make my choice know to one and all.
Going to smell so good Summer. ummmm mmm. :D
