How many are what I would refer to as Hotel Only dressers? (I am) Just about the only chance I get to dress is while traveling away from home. I also find that I don't get much sleep...I stay up way to late as this is the only chance I get to be fem. Just curious.

not a hotel person- only travel with my family, but ditto on staying up late, whether it's the forum here or barricading the home office door and trying on something.

Might have to take a sick day and experiment with the makeup.....

I love to dress and go out when I get a chance to travel by myself. I always research the area and find GD friendly places to go to. There are plenty of ways to research, you can start by posting a thread asking.
I do love going out; OH did I already say that lol.

I couldn't get away with staying in a hotel. My wife would be suspect.
My wife and I work different shifts so I have lots of alone time. :)

Well not really a HO... Though I've been called a makeup-ho and a photo-****...

More like a HA - Hotel Always... And a HS - Home Sometimes... and of coarse I am a big PRQGCA - Public Restroom Quick Gender Change Artist!! :)

I kinda fall into this category.

I dress freely at home but really keep a safe zone around it and dont walk out the front door dressed. (Apartment living is very public)

When I go to nites out I usually dress in a hotel room and then head out.

PRQGCA - Sounds like allot of work and very nerve wracking. Its funny Im ok in either mode but feel kinda vulnerable when in between.

I'm not a HO, but my wife says I dress like a ****. Does that count for anything? :D

I bet most of the girls here couldnt stand to go that long between dressing! has there ever been a survey.. like how many days a week do you wear something femme?

I bet I'm 5/7 or higher.

Most of the time that I get to dress 'all the way' with makeup and wig is when I'm out of town. This is also when I get a chance to go out because if someone reads me, I don't really care! However, if the only time that I got to dress was when I was out of town, I would be one very depressed individual because I don't get out of town much. I need to dress much more often! The good news is that I can dress at home (when the SO is away) for short periods of time. This keeps me sane (at least less insane).

Just like Karren says, but I am not "coarse", just quick.

I'm a "HO" most of the time too. When ever I travel for business I always take a lot of luggage. I stay up way too late too and I always go out in public. I dress at home infrequently when the family is away.

Years ago I used to travel on business trips and would stay in motels. I always took along some of my fem clothes and would dress up while alone in my room. I never had the courage to leave my room and now that I think back on this it was such a wasted opportunity. I stayed in places where no one knew me and it would have been perfectly safe to go out dressed. However I was so deep in the closet that I did not dare to walk down a hallway let alone leave the building. Now that I am out of the closet I would not hesitate to go out on the town dressed en femme.

You caught me I am also an HO/HS. I spend a lot of time on the road, in hotels. At home I am limited to just the times that my wife is out of the house, which is only about once a week.

I guess I'm fortunate. Don't have to travel much for business. Maybe it would be fun to take things up a notch or two. As it is, I am dressed most of the time at our quiet little house and very comforatable. PS. Went underdressed to a board meeting today! didn't even think about it until after when I was driving home, but what fun!

I travel......a lot! I usually pack 2 suitcases, one for business clothes and running stuff and the second one with dresses, lingerie, wigs, heels etc. I get fully dressed and I never have the nerve to go out.....ugh.

Before I retired I traveled a lot on business and took advantage to dress more than I could at home. That made me a HO at least part of the time. Since retirement my opportunities are few and far between and never when traveling.

I love all of the replys to this, we are so much alike, all of us, even though some are on a faster track. I dress at home when my wife is out, but now and then I go to a hotel/casino in tampa, by myself, and it is a special treat to dress and try on different things in front of a full length mirror, after shaving in a whirlpool tub. I can hit the casino underdressed, and feel completly safe as long as I have a room there. Now, if I could just get lucky!!!

I certainly don't only dress in hotel rooms but I have to say that it certainly is relaxing to finish the day and put that life aside in favor of all things feminine! The only problem is that lugging everything that I'd like to have with me is unreasonable, so dressing in a hotel is rather limiting when gone from home for nearly a week. I usually find myself not dressing to the extent that I might, especially if I'm just staying in for the night!

My wife doesn't care:hugs:. She would scream at me if I got a hotel room. Heck I can dress anytime I want at home. Save the money and spend it makeup or boots with 4" heels or a big screen TV:heehee:.

Since I'm single I have all the time to dress and usually do. Had a meeting tonight and when I got home it was a quick change from jeans and sweat shirt to a new little black dress and forms. I have not done the hotel thing as yet but it does give me ideas. Thanks. Keli

I'm retired, I can't afford a hotel or motel. Even the cheap ones are $40-50. That's the price of a nice sweater or skirt. Besides I can dress at home, any time I want to. With my wife doing the laundry, I think she knows. :D....J

I have never dress in a hotel. I am single and when I want to go out , I just dress up do my make up and go out.I have only gone to the shopping mall and the movies. I would love to dress up the hole time in a hotel. Or dress on a plaine.I drive truck and don't take Christina with me  but soon I will go to my 20th highschool reauin thise year and I will dress up there. And I might have to take a hotel there cuz It where My mom lives and she does not want me to dress in HER town. SO I might not even tell her I am in town. I used to travel a good handful in my previous job. I was a definite HO and likewise would stay up too late and venture down to the rent-a-car and go for late night drives. A bit dangerous but never really ventured too far.

The rush for me was walking to the car enfemme and taking the hotel elevators (not knowing if anyone else would jump in with you). Also loved the mirrored elevators.

I kind of miss those days.

I am fairly frequently away and staying in hotels and it is indeed an opportunity to dress. However, my own reticence about going out and getting "caught" means that I either underdress only or dress more fully and remain in the room. Even staying in the room can be enjoyable because I can relax in a chair or on the bed, read, watch TV, etc. without fear of someone coming home - something I always have to think about in my house. Going out underdressed is also a pleasure I cannot really enjoy from home whereas, starting from a city hotel room I can go out for a walk, ride on the bus or underground, have a meal or drink, see a film....while enjoying the feel of the underwear. Not ideal, but good.
One other big benefit for me is the ease of going shopping for various clothes, returning to the hotel room to try them and then being able to return any that don't fit, using the anonymity of the city and the ease of access between hotel and shops.

Hotel telling,
Ok,
I have to tell you girls that I know of some hotels that keep the doors to their hotels unlocked.

When I would go out. I would go to one of these hotels, get feminized, leave the hotel, go out and be the girl, then go back to the hotel and get "Unfeminized" and go home. I took a table top mirror with me so I could put my makeup on in the handicap stall, it had much more room. Sure there were times I was seen comin out of the girls restroom, but since all my rendevous were at nite, I wasn't seen goin in.
Had to Share,
Hugs,
Tamera

It's tough when you have a business or a career and also a family.
But I know what you are saying
there is the world of which we are
and there is the world in which we desire to be
when I am out of town on business it is the world I desire it to be

Yes, I'm a HO too. I dress in the hotel room, but if the hotel and the area is CD friendly, I'm enjoying outside as well.

I've actually considered going to a hotel just so I can spend some time dressed up, but in the privacy of the room as I'm not yet ready to 'come out of the closet'.
I get very little time at home as, due to not being able to afford a place of my own, I still live with my father.
Occasionally at home I may get an hour to dress up, but I'm paranoid incase he comes home & catches me.
The odd time he's away for the day, I can't wait to get dressed up & put the makeup on & spend the day as Fearne.
BUT he has a knack of coming home early & I've nearly been caught a few times.

i think i will be on holiday in a remote place away from home when i get out of the closet. Dressing in public away from home does seem more doable for me. I would be alot more confident if I had some other girl with me.:)

Hotel dressing is fine if i have the opportunity. Unfortunately a lot of my travel is via air and i just don't feel like lugging stuff with me through security.

When I travel by my self, I always buy some thing for Lucy to take back home, and the only CD I did on the trip was wearing what I bought at the hotel, but last year I planned in advance to take some fem clothes, underwear and every thing needed to let Lucy out. I enjoyed it very much and did it on three different trips, on the last one to Atlanta I ventured out of the hotel, got lost with little fuel and had to refuel in Feme late at night!.
Got Hungry so I stopped at a empty dinner and asked if they would mind serving dinner to me, they where very nice people.
Now I am HO for sure.
