Hi,

Has anyone wathced the Deep Stealth DVDs on voice and makeup? If so, what are your thoughts - are they worth the money?

Nope.. Haven't tried them... As far as makeup you can probably get a good dose of mu training here, and on youtube.. And some makeup forums.. And if you hit the search button up there you may just find some info on fem voice training..

Hi Nicole,

I purchased the makeup DVD a few years ago. It features Capernia Adams doing makeup on two models. One who hasn't had her facial hair removed and one who has. It's pretty informative, she does use MAC products and the techniques are worth watching. But as Karren has stated there's alot other videos out there on makeup application. Plus nothing beats having your makeup done by a cosmetologist, and having them explain the steps and process.

no not worth it. i got all the same info on youtube for free.voice change is very simple just takes practice. and look up make up tips on youtube also. find a GG that you can trust and she will help you with make-up. if their ok with your CD they really like helping.

I have the Deep Stealth Becoming You makeup Theory and Application DVDs, as well as the Developing a Female Voice DVD.

In my opinion, if you have the money to spend and don't have any other learning DVs on makeup / voice, you might as well buy the DVDs and watch them - I think it is probably best to spend your money buying Deep Stealth products as Andrea James and Calpernia Addams are really out there for the TG/TS community and are really involved in the media for TG/TS women.

Having said that, if you are really struggling with the money, I'll save you a bit of meney by giving you some advice - just go to a MAC Cosmetics store and get one of the sales-persons to evaluate you on what shades of concealer, foundation and powder you'll need, and get their cosmetics and have them give you a demo of how to use it (free demo if over $50, which the concealer, foundation and powder will be). MAC Cosmetics are expensive but are worth it, and are cheaper in the long run better than going through CoverGirl, Revlon, etc. drug store makeups which are really too light for us girls. Start with the best - MAC Cosmetics.

You can also learn all the various makeup info on how to apply / contouring online.

As to voice - if you have the time to really practice then it will be worth it. Practice, Practice, Practice. (I myself am hopeless). If you don't have the time / discipline for practicing the proper technique then just talk softer and practice talking from your head and not your chest. Another T-Girl friend can help you.

Pretty impressive videos on how one TG lady was able to change her voice from Male to Female - Well worth watching! (Though it does have a lot of funny stuff / distractions mixed in).
