Hello Star, I will generally use more than one to get the deisred colour, I have a favourite two. For the first coat I use one made by Rimmel that is called Scream, and for the second coat I use one made by Avon that is called Berry Delight.
I've got lots of others but these two are my favourites at the moment.

Scarlet, but anything red and not too flashy works. I'd love to find a nude lipstick that worked on my face to de-emphasize my lips a little but haven't got one yet.

My favorite colors are tawny pinks, usually with names like "Cafe Latte," "Pink Bronze," "Pink Toffee," and the like.

Anyone ever get excited about a new lippie color in the store, buy it, get it home, and realize that it's nearly identical to sixteen other tubes you already own? That's what happens when you get too attached to one color I guess :)

I have to say I have been sort of stuck on shades of pink or red in lipsticks and lip glosses. Bunny doesnt have much in the way of colors. Guess it is up to me to experiment with some others. Only problem is she will then want to borrow it if it looks good on me :D . Already cant keep her away from the lip glosses I picked.

I have three that I used. Two when I dress up and one when I either go out in my "Everyday Clothes" or guy clothes.
The first two are called "Cherries in the Snow" and "Wild Coral"
The third is called "Bronze Cream". It almost the same color as my natural lips.

Like you, Wendy, I love the look of light shimmery pink gloss, but it just doesn't work so well on me. I don't feel as sexy, hee hee. My favorite color is true red (I've been using Mary Kay's Really Red lately) and also any bright pinks, or pinks with a blue base, like Carnation or Watermelon.

Amelie - I will have to try black... although I don't think it will work quite as well on me as you.

My favorite colors are red or purple, but I find it difficult to find really purplish colored lipstick, because they give it names I am not famailar with.

Actually I have no idea. Maybe light blue with frost white hair and pale skin tone.
Something weird that isn't red, even though red is my favorite color.

Joann...I agree with you "Cherries in the Snow" is great. For a far more intense color and lots of shine I use Christian Dior's Plactic Shine in it's deepest red.

My favorite right now is Fucisia blast by maybelline. I also like rose cashmere by cover girl and for every day wear I use a pink lipslicks by covergirl.
I just got in the mail today a product by lipfusion. It is a collagen lip plump color shine. It is suposed to plump your lips and now it it comes in colors. Has anyone used this product before. I can't wait for the weekend to use it. I always thought my lips would look more sensual, and fem, if they were a bit more plump. LOL Wilma
