how old where you when you started dressing?

I think i was about 5 i remember trying on a girlfriends swimsuit in the bathroom and i remember feeling an adrenaline rush go through me. Also mum used to put me in tights when i was really young during the winter. I started crossdressing more often when i was about 9/10 with my mums clothes because i didn't have a sister :sad:

Probably around 7-8. But it was largely my mom's clothes and a few dresses of reltives hung in an old wardrobe closet. It wasn't until my early teens that I started with my friend's older sisters stuff that was always hanging around or my aunt's lingerie and dresses from when I would babysit.

I've told my start-up story in bits and bobs around here, so if you just look up posts by me you get most of it. I'll do some highlights here.

My earliest memories are in grade one. I lived a fairly sheltered pre-school life, and so when I got to school all the boys where rough and tumble and I was never like that. I much rather wanted to play with the girls, but they thought boys where icky. So I kind kept to myself -- the nuns would give me things things to do and always praised me.

Of course I always heard that horrid thing aboout boys being snips and snails and puppy-dog tails and girls being sugar and spice and all things nice --- well in my little mind there was really only one way to go :)

On to grade two, or -- the mysteries behind the door marked GIRLS. Nervously and with sweaty palms I pushed open the large wooden door and entered that place where only we girls ere allowed. Finally I was in the right place. A plae with none of those ugly white things hanging off the wall, and it their place, a big metal vending machine box selling a product that began with the letter K. (side note: I now own one of those and plan to put it in the bathroom at home.)

Life continued along this path until I was 11. The it was my mum's clothes, my sister's clothes, my cousin's clothes. It took two years for me to finally figure out that none of them fit. So then on the night of 3 February 1971, as I lay in my bed, no doubt listening to WCFL Chicago come in across the miles, and pulled a school tablet out from under my ma tress and detail my plan. 'On Friday go to G C Murphy's and buy your own bikini panties. Buy 3 pair'

When Friday 5 February rolled around, I had a half day of school. It was snowing heavily, and walked through town from school. I had three dollars. I picked out three pair of panties. as I walked to the cash register I saw it. A Teencharm Pretty Please training bra. I had to have it. That and one pair of panties became my first purchase and my first girls clothes that really where mine and mine alone

I didn't dress fully until much later, but I was fascinated with my mom's heels and makeup from a very early age. By the time I was three, I insisted she put nail polish and lipstick on me whenever she was getting ready to go out. At about four, I remember trying to play "dress up" with the donated clothes and shoes on the girl's side of the preschool I attended, although the teachers put a quick stop to it. I had exclusively female friends in elementary school and never participated in sports or any other "rough" activities.

My mom cooperated in letting me get my ears pierced at age nine, and took me to a downtown department store to buy my first pair of grown-up heels when I was 12. (That must have been a sight ... a pre-teen boy wearing earrings and nail polish, trying on heels in the fanciest shoe department in town ... but nothing was said, and I became a regular customer!)

This might be different than most of the posts here but here goes. When I was four years old I came across a nylon scarfe that got me started in all of this. It was about 4' long and about 8" wide and purple in color. I think it was from some old clothes that I found in the basement of our house. I would take this scarfe and wrap it around me pretending that it was my underwear. This was a very big turn on for me even at the young age of four years old but I still remember it very distinctely. When I turned five years old I remember going to kindergarten on the first day. I seen all of the girls dressed in thier frilly dresses and I wanted to wear one too. When I came home from that first day of school I asked my Mom if I could wear a pretty dress to school too like the rest of the other girls. She explained to me that only girls could wear dresses and boys could not do this. I was very confused and dissappoinnted that I could not wear a dress to school. Even at this early age I felt that I was a girl and wanted to dress like one. My Mom told me that I was a boy and had to dress like the other boys and not like a girl. I was so sad to learn this and this was when I started to wear my sisters' clothes in secrecy

I was on the second grade of elementary school, my age should have been around 8. Well, lets see: Mom dressed me in some of my sister's clothes when I was too young to know whether it was appropriate or not, maybe that deeply influenced whether or not I would consider it appropriate later in life. I didn't feel much resistance when my abuser dressed me as a girl a few years later; putting on girl clothes sort of felt natural, but I don't know if it had to do with it really being so, or his argument that god made a mistake and that I should have been born a girl made me feel that it was 'normal' for me to wear a dress. When did I start dressing?

This is an interesting Q that starts probably at age 16ish if I recall correctly.

See I am and always have been very skinny. . .a more feminine that masculine form. And I have never liked my size -- always wanted to be different be it heavier or prettier so I often tried to change my form. It started with padding myself with various forms of padding -- sometimes pillows and sometimes wadded up sheets.

(for comparison: Currently, I'm about 5'8" 118lbs, small frame --28" waist.)A very skinny , small guy :o

Then, in about 1996, I fell in love with my first and current wife and during our long-distance engagement, I went to visit her and before leaving she gave me her bra to keep with me. Back home, I would secretly put this bra on and I was hooked. . . seemed to be the perfect addition to my small frame. . . I have many feminine traits and seeing myself as a girl just felt "right". It was euphoric and addicting. Being girly in appearance seemed to match my feminine personality and I liked it.

So with that, I have been underdressing partially off and on secretly since 2004.

Finally, on New Years day, during a much needed and serious dissuussion with my wife all was aired out and she's since been accepting of my dressing even letting me go out en femme if I want to. And since then I've been dressing in every spare moment :) And have even started my own femme wardrobe!

So, it has been a sort of journey . . .to find Jacie but she's here now :D

I tried on "dress-up clothes" in my elementary years, and I remember being chastised for trying to put on my mom's nylons and pumps when I was about 3 or 4. I was caught again at about age 7 trying on my sister's shoes, and was chastised again.
That only made me get stealthier. I was obsessed with tights and nylons, and I dressed up in my mom's, and used her high heels as soon as I wore the same size she does. I was depressed for many years as my feet kept growing, and I had to find a new source. For many years, I lived with self-chastisement and was obsessed with just putting it out of my mind, considering myself a freak. The true healing began in the past year, culminating in my first SCC, (08) finally finding inner peace nad self-acceptance. We crossdressers are growing in number every day, and I think we're gaining acceptance more and more every day!!:drink:

For me I was about 10 years old. My sister & I used to play dress up from time to time. I tried on my mom's pantyhose, but what really got it going was trying on my sister's swimsuit. Back in grade school I was always sooooo jealous of what the girls wore at swimming classes, and wishing I could do the same. Well this is just my story~

I have been interested in dressing up in nylon/lycra spandex my whole life, but my first cross dressing experience in public was what really got me started. I had managed to get this really tiny tight skirted leotard from a second hand shop and I also managed to get a wig there. They were really nice about it didn't say much. I was around 13 at the time and I had to take a bus there because I didn't want to go anywhere near my neighborhood. Anyways, I decided to buy some ultra shimmery tights at one store and a little bit of make up from a drug store. These were heart wrenching purchases, but I always went really far away so no one would know me.

I had everything together and dressed a little, bit when my parents weren't home. I would walk around and this got me so excited. I didn't really hit puberty full on yet so I still looked really girly. Anyways, I decided to go out one early morning and bike to the local subway/train called bart.

It was pretty early in the morning around 4:30am. My parents weren't home because they were out at my uncles house to fix something, it was pretty far and they said they weren't going to come back until tomorrow, so I didn't have to worry about anything. I got dressed. I shaved everything the night before because I planned it all out. I wore beige ultra shimmer tights, a black skirted leotard which the skirt barely covered the leotard portion and didn't full cover the back, regular sneakers, leg warmers, and a small pink duffel bag. I figured I should have the bag and make it look like I was going to dance practice or skating practice. Anyways, I swore to myself I wouldn't carry an extra set of clothes because if I did I would just change at the first sight of a person. Oh I also had just stuffed a little bit just with some tissue because I only managed to get a training bra.

Well when I went outside it was freezing cold and dark, but no one was really around. The place was open so I had to get a ticket and get on the train. I figured there would just be just a few people so I could have someone see me, but not worry about too many stares.

I had to buy a ticket, and run up to the platform. There were a couple people there so I was getting kind of shy and embarrassed, but I made a promise to myself that I would go. So I went. I went and bought the ticket. I don't think anyone really payed that much attention. There was a woman there and the security people along with the news stand person. The woman kind of looked at me for a second, but then just went on going into the station. When I started going up the escalator I did notice the security guard staring at me.

When I got up to the platform there was the woman I saw earlier and two men. I just stood waiting for the next train and looked every now and then to see if any of them were looking at me or thought I was weird. None of them really noticed me at first, but one of the guys started staring at me now and then. I think he saw that my skirt didn't really cover the back part of my leotard I don't know. I was kind of a little embarrassed so I ended up sitting down.

When the train arrived there were like 8 people in the car already. Plenty of seats, but still more people than I expected. I went in and got a few stares. I sat near the back of the car and there was only one woman there. She stared at me and then stared at my outfit. I felt really nervous at this point. She just smiled and asked if i was going to go ice skating. I just nodded and didn't say anything else. She kind of just looked at me now and then until I got to the next city. I got off and went outside.

I had to hurry because I didn't want to go out after the sun came out. So I kind of rushed out. The station was pretty empty and no one else got off at this stop. I walked outside of the station and there were a few people heading towards the gate. They all kind of looked at me, but I kept walking. I didn't really know where I was going, but I wanted to go somewhere secluded. It was a small city and there weren't that many people out. I walked 5 or 6 blocks getting the occasional stare from people who walked on the same side of the side walk. I then ran behind a big office building. It wasn't that secluded, but there was somewhere to sit. I sat on a concrete wall that surrounded some tree.

After I came I began to realize that the street was just across from the lot and people walking on the side walk could really see me. I don't think anyone did see me, but that's when I started to realize how crazy I was to do that there. The sky started to become blue now and I really felt embarrassed about wearing this outfit. I wanted to change, but I didn't bring any clothes so I just was in horror about having to get back on the train and go back.

I made sure my wig was on right and kind of ran back to the station. There were more people there and I just looked at the ground and put the ticket in and went to the platform. I walked to the end of the platform were there were less people, but this one guy kept staring at me and he slowly walked closer to me. I stared away, but whenever I looked back I knew he was staring at the back of my leotard. I just looked away and he was getting closer and closer. He was some older guy like in his 40s in a suit. It was really weird because I was only like 13 at the time, but yeah...

Anyways, he eventually ended up near me and walked up and asked if I was going ice skating. I just nodded my head kind of looking down. He asked if I knew about some incident that happened to a figure skater and how she was disqualified. I just shook my head.

I was so relieved the train came after he asked me the questions. I got on and sat down. There were a couple people in the train, but I went to the back again. It was weird the guy sat right next to me. He kept rubbing his legs against my pantyhose and stuff.

I kind of moved my leg away and scooched over, but he kept on just talking and moving towards me. I was getting kind of annoyed, but it would be really rude and weird if I just got up.

After my stop came up I just whispered quietly I had to go (so I didn't sound like a guy). As I was getting up and as he did he moved his hand up the back of my leg up my tights and touched my butt. I mean he was weird and all, but I really didn't expect this so I kind of jumped. No one else saw it because we were in the back of the car. I kind of was startled and mad, but it was my stop and I just walked out. He waved as the train left. I realized I was wearing a pretty provocative outfit. Just a really short skirted leotard with ultra shimmery tights, but I guess I was just overwhelmed with my own horniness before I came.

I got a few more stares at my stop, but I went out and went home as fast as I could. I had an exhilarating first time out and though I had a weird incident with a man I wanted to do it again. I guess this is where my experiences with crossdressing and exhibitionism really began. I wonder if I would be more normal if I didn't go out that day.
