I've been CD-ing for quite a few years, but untill I noticed all of you great looking gals, I never thought about body hair, you ladies look great and I want to look as good as some of you.
What is the best way to remove body hair?
I know shaving is one way, but am wondering about chemical methods, such as Nair etc; are they effective, and of course I'm wondering about the pain and discomfort.
How about a course or a seminar on Body Hair removal?

I've only found shaving to be any good. Waxing required letting it grow again to a certain length (although after it was smooth). Chemical have done nothing but burn. Laser is still questionable and expensive.

 I have a Philips Satinelle 2in1. Its a great eppilator, do it after opening the skin pores in a very hot long bath.
It works for a week, it is very painful the first time, but now the hair must go softer and its a little less painful. Hope this helps your decision making.

I have used the Nair for men,
There's a Nair for men now?
What am I going to do with these four bottles of rasberry Nair for women (which smells nothing like rasberry)?
Probably use them.
Sure as heck won't take ten minutes though. Last time took about 2 hours, but I am pretty slow.

I guess I'm in the 'Nair club' too. It works nearly everywhere on me: legs, arms, tummy, back, etc. It works wonders for areas I might miss with a razor. Occaisionally, I may get a tiny burn on my ankle but other than that, it's been very kind to me. And not 1 ingrown hair...nada! My first time was a blast...watching all that pesky hair wash off and disappear in the drain. If only it were permanent.
They recommend 'testing' a small area of your skin each time to be on the safe side. I'm still searching for a hair growth inhibitor--if that even exists. I'd love to try laser removal but -sigh- Joanna is right...too expensive.

There's alot on this in the beauty club. For serious inquiries you could ask to join. Yeah I use nair only on my arms because I can't wait for stubbies to remove by waxing and shaving causes more bad than not. The rest I shave, yes 'all' of myself. I would say if you can stand to pain of waxing try an epilator, which is something I am looking into getting for myself. It sounds more cost effective.

Waxing pure and simple!
I wax from neck to ankles (with a quick shave round the sensitve area).
Quick, easy, relatively painless (get less so the more you do it), and not that expensive when you consider how long you remain hairless compared to regular shaving.
Chuck the razor - too inefficient!

Hmmm. Shaving is not so popular then. Maybe I'll try Nair, I've not tried that brand. It better not burn and irritate, 'coz if it does ..... <shaking fist in air>

Just make sure you wash it off completely or you will regret it. :)

Shaving takes way too long. Epilators are too painful for the results, as is waxing. I've found Nair to be fastest, especially for the entire bod. Just spread it on, wait for a few minutes and jump into the shower to wash it off. I recommend moisturzing immediately afterwards with Jergen's Shave Minimizing Moisturizer.

Thanks to all of you for the great response, as allways there is an abundance of useful information, you Ladies have made my decision an easy one. It looks as though the "Nair for Men" will be my first attempt. I'll try it on my legs tonight and report back tomorrow.
Once again I wish to state, how great it is to be able to use this wonderful Forum.

Ladies,
Here's my report on my experiment with "Nair":
I didn't bother to try the men's product, but let me tell you, the regular 4 minute lotion (Cucumber Melon) product, worked like magic. I bought the 9 oz size for about $3 at Wal-Mart and used about ½ of it on both legs, from my toes to my crotch. The results were outstanding, I still can't believe how well it worked and how great my legs look now.
My only regret is not taking before and after pictures. I'm on my way to buy my first pair of heels, I've just got to dress up and show off this precious body, if only to myself.

From full hair to hair free nair takes forty five minutes off a full body shave. And yes I do the chest too however delicate it is. All in all about 20 minutes vs over an hour and no razor burn. Still want to try the epilator to remove things at the root and make it last longer. ;)

hi, should you go the Nair route-rinse well-well-well & rinse some more..beee careful around the base of the p__is & scrotum...you will notive that after this treatment, as hair grows in, it is not stubbly as in shaving...AND, the next few times hair seems to be softerwhen it does grow in...);+), (same care for underarms)..renae/roger
