Has anyone noted a resemblance to a GG in your family or circle of friends to any of the girls on the forum who have posted pics of themselves? I was going through some family photos last night and came across a pic of my sister. I was floored by her strong resemblance to one of our girls. I have a feeling our CDing sister would be cool with it but I’m certain my GG sister would not be amused if I told her she looks like a crossdresser! :D

Yep, I look a lot like my Mom, even more so when I'm made up and dressed. I was actually thinking of girls on the forum who resemble either friends or family members other than mothers. It seems to be pretty much a given that most of us look like our Moms.

I don't look like my family when I'm dressed. There was someone on here that posted, that I swear looks almost just like one of my aunts- if my aunt had longer hair.

Depending on what wig I'm wearing, I look like my sister.

Yes, I realized this lately. When I go blonde I so closely resemble my sister that I fear I would be outed by anyone who knows her. Then again, when brunette I found I can leave the house semi-safely because at a distance my hair and body shape resembles my wife. (Wait a minute... doctor, what does this all mean??? :battingeyelashes:)

If I come out, I will definitely need to work on yet another look. I'm sure both of these looks would only complicate acceptance.

I was told by a girlfriend that I look like my Mother and looking at photos I agree with her.
There is a young member on this forum that I was totally shocked to see her avatar because she is the image of me 30 years ago.

My mother looks a lot like I do when I'm dressed.... Except she doesn't wear as much makeup as I do... matter of fact none of the women in my family wear as much makeup as I do!! :)

Hmm.. Apparently I look enough like my mother that I was entering a building (in drab) and one of her co-workers guessed who I was related to just by my face..

Actually, Karren, you're the one I was talking about. I wish I had a scanner; I'd send you a pic of my sister. You two could be, well, sisters! :D

Everyone on my mom's side of the family seem to have the same face. I'm no exception.

I was told by my sister in law recently that I looked a lot like my sister, and that my sister could look as good as me if she bothered to take care of her looks. I was pretty chuffed.

Not so much my mum or sister, it was my younger cousin i like a spit of. It was really spooky, looking in the mirror done to the nines and my cousin Becky looking back at me. She is hot, so I was very happy.:daydreaming:

I think I look like my Aunt, my Mother's sister, but I also look like my Mom. Interestingly enough, they really don't look like each other. I'm the missing link!

In a couple of photos I actually look like my paternal grandmother.

I also noticed a couple of sisters on here who looked so much alike I swore they could have been the same person.

Yes, a few months ago when I got a new wig, when I passed a mirror I could have sworn I saw my sister's face looking back at me. Scary. If I told her that, she'd probably kill me.

The first time I dressed with full makeup and outfit to go out for my first night, I was surprised how much I favored an aunt I was not very fond of, and to some degree my mother. I agree with my friend who I shared the pic with, the way I both dressed, makeup application, and my color choices dated me so very much. I was amazed how much older I looked in that picture. I just need to choose better colors.

First time I put make up on I saw my Mom staring back at me. I had seen a pix of her 40 years earlier and I looked just like her. I almost had a heart attack Whew!

When my hair's down, without anything done to it, I've started to look like my mom, when she was younger. With my hair done, I think I look more like my sister.

We used to have no resembles with my sister at all, often people had hard time to believe we were even siblings at all. Now I do not think it is that hard for anyone to believe it.

I also look like my mom when I have on the wig and makeup. I have her wedding day photo and I look like her in that. I would love to dress up in a wedding gown and have a similar photo taken.

I definitely have my Mother's cheeks and smile. I remember my Father telling her that she had great legs and now that I shave my legs, I have her legs also.

First (and only) time I had a make-over, I took a few photos, and when I saw them on the screen, I couldn't see any likeness to relatives except an uncanny older version of my daughter! I was pleased with that; I think my daughter looks great!

I was amused by the fact that I looked a lot like my younger sister after I started using make up. In a way it was just scary and I still can't get over it.
