Hi girls, as long as i have been CD i never did makeup or wigs i was happy with the clothes, shoes etc. I would like to post a picture of me wearing a dress but without being made up, is this okay. I have seen most of the avatars and photos and all are wearing makeup. I would like to know what you think of me, and i would like the world to see the really me. :o:o LOVE YOU ALL and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of my beatiful new friends.

I'm not wearing make up in my photo. I'm interested in trying it, but have no experience with it. There are avatars on this forum of CD's with full beards.

You should feel free to use any photo that is not pornographic. I can't quite define that, but to mangle a supreme court classic: our moderators know it when they see it.

Lovey, there's no pressure to post a picture at all if you don't want to...many members never do.

If you're comfortable posting w/o hair or makeup...or bearded...or any old way, just go ahead and do it.

Your need and desire to do it is all that counts.

Sweetie, I second (or third or fourth) the other comments here...post with pride and joy!

Seems to me there's a spectrum between male and female, and we all find our own place along it from moment to moment, and all of those places are equally beautiful.

(Speaking for myself, I am totally grooving on my newlyl discovered freedom to slide back and forth between the two endpoints as I like.)

Best wishes and happy '09,

Lisa

Sweetie,
There are many times where I do not get all made up and take pictures of myself. There are also many of us who have posted pictures of ourselves without wigs or makeup. Please feel free to do so, this is our safe haven, your amongst friends

As the others have said - your pic is entirely up to you and what your comfortable with (assuming of course that it is considered "G" rated - IE you ARE wearing clothes)

We have a number of members here that do not mess with makeup and hair, and at least two of them that I know about get out and about on a regular basis that way. You ask me, that takes and INCREDIBLE amount of courage. At least when I go out, I'm fairly sure even my own mother wouldn't recognize me. When they go out, everyone knows exactly who and what they are, and that takes a hell of a lot of guts I think.

Hey,

Happy New Year.

As you can see from my avatar and profile pic I don't do wigs or makeup either and I've never had negative comments about it. Only support from everyone on here.

Just go with what you're happiest with. CDing is a spectrum thing and there are plenty of others out there like you and me. Have a look through some of the profiles when you have time and you'll see.

Mark.

I can only reinforce what others have said, post your pictures as YOU like to be, as long as they are decent. There is a whole spectrum of CDers and we get the full cross section here. That helps others to feel thay fit in somewhere, whatever floats their boat.
Even after 50+ years, I don't have make-up or a wig either, but if my wife was more tolerant, I would have, because I long to present as a female and go out in public, and unlike some here, I haven't got the guts to do it with my male face. Any photos I've posted have been headless too, because my wife is paranoid about anyone we know stumbling across this site and recognising me. I know, I know, if I wore a wig and make up, I would not be recognisable anyway, but she's nowhere near ready for me to even appear even a little bit feminine. I'm working on it, but it's going to be a long job, if it ever happens at all!

No problem there - just do it - we crossdressers make up a very wide spectrum in the degree of dressing -
