Good evening to all.Hope everyone had a great New Years.

Mine was great. I came out to a friend who we have known for almost 20 years. I'll call him "R" for now.Anyway, R met us for New Years Eve and since he lives on the other side of of Philly,he stayed overnight last night. we woke up and we all had a very late breakfast,my brother in law stayed over also but he had to leave because he some work to do. I was showing R pictures of my trip to D.C. which are on my Blackberry and I accidently showed him a picture where I'm dressed femme to the full nines. He said"Who is that?" and my wife and I just looked at each other and I just fessed up to him and told him I'm a CDer. He said "really" I went on to explain my story, told him I am not gay just like to explore my feminine side and so on the whole 9 yards. He then said "Being such a manly guy,he would've never thought that" and also said"that he totally cool with it and has no problem with me dressing femme when he comes over". I then offered to get dressed up to show him and have him meet Felicity and he said "ok" I went upstairs and changed into my new Apt 9 sweater,my spaghetti strap tank top underneath and my tan corduroy skirt, put on my long curly blonde wig and some make up,earrings and necklace. When I came downstairs, my wife said "R, meet Felicity". He was like"Wow" and then said " P*il,(my male name) if I didn't know you, I would think that you were a real woman, you look so good!" I just said thanks and then I proceeded to show him my whole femme wardrobe and so on.He then said ' It took alot of guts and courage on your part to tell me and again I have no problem with it and I promise not to say a word to anyone else about it"! I said thank you,but thats not all. We decided that we were in the mood for chinese food.We couldn't go to any chinese places in our area since we are pretty well known, so we found a place about 12 miles away in Downingtown,PA,called to make sure they were open and we drove out there and went in and had dinner and I was totally femme. The place was hardly crowded and no one really cared and the staff was very pleasant. Talk about a great evening.Telling a friend about my CDing and eating dinner out totally femme! It was awesome.I have to admit I was nervous but once we were seated and seeing nobody really cared, I was on cloud 9! What a great way to start off 2009! I guess we'll see what more adventures I'll have this year!

Felicity :) :) :) :) (very happy gurl tonight)

That's so awesome that your friend was so accepting of it. :) I've always been afraid of someone accidentally seeing pics of me dressed. lol I'm glad that worked out for you. It makes me wanna get a wig and makeup and go out.

Thats ok. I know my Eagles probably won't go far into the playoffs, but at least they embarrassed the dreaded Dallas Cowboys and knocked them out.LOL.

Congratulations, Felicity! I'm so happy for you! To know you now have such a close friend that you don't have to hide part of yourself from must feel incredible.

What a fantastic start to a new year.

Warmest regards,

Congratulations! It's part of my new year's wishlist to tell one of my close female cousins and to tell more to my daughter--I'm taking little steps.

Felicity, I have recently experianced a simular outing with a niece. I had been out to visit my sister-in-law who knows I dress and while there her daughter stopped in. Even though I was dress in drab I had not taken my eye liner and shadow off and was wearing my forms under my sweatshirt. Ny neice noticed but said nothing until I had left. She then asked her mom if she thought I was a crossdresser because of her observance. My sister-in-law said she could not answer that but said she would talk with me. Then out of the blue she said she was glad that I could dress and feel comfortable and would like to have a girls night out at a casino close by. I'm looking forward to this soon. Keli
