No photo of me (I dressed the same as my avitar though), small shot of my new boots (makes me stand about 6'2" and a little harder to walk in) :-).

So here is todays adventure. The day started with me getting up really early and dedicating the entire day to my hobby. I tried a new technique to create clevage which involved using 4 inch wide utility tape and a 1/2 inch thick rubber band. I placed tape on each side of my chest and looped the inside of the tape around the rubber band so each side could be pulled together, but at the same time had some give. It works well, the tape is really stong though so you have to be careful taking it off. So, I fully dressed, jeans, high heel boots, low cut top, pink ski jacket (it was -20 C here), makeup, nail polish, wig. Snuck out to my car and brought my cleanup kit with me.

The first part of my trip was to Sears, at noon hour. I got a gift card I need to use, so I thought why not? I was feeling a little nervous, but felt better as time passed. The parking lot was packed, so I had to park far way. This required walking with and past several other shoppers. I wasn't in a smiling back mood, but any looks I got were of the 'nothing out of the ordinary variety'. I entered the store and browsed, didn't see anything that were really screaming 'buy me' so I didn't. I looked at tops, sports wear, and spent most of the time looking in intimates, I was looking for an upper leg shaper, but didn't find exactly what I wanted (I know what I want, so I may buy it online later). It sure is easier to browse enfem...in man mode everyone watches you... it was funny actually, there was a guy in the intimates area, but he hightailed it out when I got near to him. I also walked around the mall and browsed a dollar store. The only 'look' I got was from a sears cashier (you know the type) older lady been doing her job for too long...she stared at me, but quickly went back to her business. I'm not sure if I was read or not, it could be the jeans and top...other shoppers were dressed up a bit more. Oh, I did get two other looks...one from a female who looked my up and down and she seemed to fixate on my large belt buckle. The other was a guy, who very obviously was checking me out until I looked at him and he pretended not to. So that part was a success.

When I get 'in the zone' I start thinking to my self 'what's wrong...don't you people know I am a guy in a dress...I almost feel like yelling that!...but anyway, it's my way of convincing myself I am passing I guess. I probably get read so maybe I'm just blending...but, back to my story.

So I began looking for interaction. I went to the local casino, did the woman's room to brush my hair and passed a few other woman on the way out. I walked the floor, many people looked at me, I looked back like I knew where I was going and no one looked at me too long. I found a 25cent slot machine, put in $5 and gambled until I was ahead...I got up to $6 and called it a day...not bad, 20% return in 5 minutes. Casino's are not really my thing. So off I went... on the way out I walked up the wheelchair ramp and a older man had to wait for me... I smiled and wispered 'sorry'...he smiled and said 'hello' with kind of a song.

I wanted something more, so I decided to hit payless shoes... I entered the store and there was a young cashier and 50ish woman minding the customers. They were speaking french (I was in Quebec). I was their only customer and she asked me if I needed help buying boots. I tried to speak in a girly voice, but when pressed my male voice comes out...arugh. I just shook my head and said 'its okay'. She hovered at the end of the isle...and was chitchatting with the other employee. I found some boots! Size 10, I tried them on, they fit well and look cool. So I took the box and went to the cash. The woman followed me and started talking to me, I just sort of tried me best to smile and say just a few words. I was feeling more at ease though. When she entered the price, the tag on the boots said $69...I asked if it was correct and she entered the code from the box, $15. Phew, I was thinking I was just about to enter a bidding war. Good deal, they are nice boots. The whole time she was nice and I didn't get the feeling she read me or thought of me as anyone other than another woman. You can tell, if they act cool towards you.

My last stop was the local movie theater, I entered and walked to the kiosk to see if any movies were playing in english. The cashier looked up at me, but then went back to her boring job (waiting at the cash watching customers avoid her by using the kiosks... hahah).

Then I cleaned up in the car before returning home. It was fun, I parked in the middle of the lot, people were coming and going in waves as the moves let out and I slowly convered to male. In plain sight, but not obvious. I did it in stages that made it possible to pass at any point in time. The sequence was...track pants and top over female clothing...still looking female, then male ski jacket and shoes...still looking female for the most part. Then off with the eye shadow, then lipstick. Then earings. Yup, still female, but looking more plain. Off with the wig and on with the winter hat. Looking male at this point. Off with the foundation and went home. At home I took off the clothes, but I could have passed as my male self to any neighbors who were watching.

All, in all a good adventure. I feel tired now. hope you enjoy.

Well SALLEY, that sounds like a full day - I wonder if we spend too much time looking to see if anyone is looking at us - I think that causes more looks from others than anything else - just go about your business and don't even look at other people - you will have a lot less people checking you out - ATTITUDE - CONFIDENCE

Hey thanks for the replys. I just put track pants on top of my female jeans in the car so, I was getting too warm. I guess I am getting out, maybe too much, and each time I am gaining confidence and feel more relaxed and at peace. I don't watch everyone in a nervous way, I make eye contact, but I look around as anyone else would and just observe how people react to me. Slowly, I'm attempting to be more verbal and actually seeking out situations that require it.

I spent most of today breaking in my new boots by wearing thick manly socks and while doing some home renovations. My feet hurt a little. They actually make my height 5'11" and the heels are 3" to 3.5" high. I am 5' 8.5" normally. It really changes your stride to smaller steps when you go up just a little in heal size.
