Over heard at the mall, and almost choked!!

I stopped for a Coke at the food court. Two women were in the booth behind me. One right behind me told her friend, "Did you know so in so was a cross dresser? I ran into him, I mean her in the ladies room, here at the mall." After a bit of small talk and laughs, the one told her friend, "The lady in the next stall in a public restroom, might be a man." I laughed so hard, they both looked at me and the one asked me if I ever heard of ppl that did those things. I just shook my head and said not me. As I pushed my Victoria Secret bag down a little further.....BJ

Diffenenity missed an oppurtunity for some positive PR. I inderstand that when you get caught off gaurd it's hard to do the positive thing.

I haven't had that kind of experiance but a couple days ago one of the supervisors at the campus I work work was having coffee with me. We ended up on the halloween outfit I wore to work and she asked me how often I crossdress. I figure she must have put two and two together so I responded with "as often as I can". The I showed her my avitar picture. She commented I look good as a woman. The conversation changed and we parted with a hug. You never know who your allies are and when you feel right about the moment set the bar higher in their court and see if they are up to the challenge of acceptance. Keli
