I hate thongs, and I never buy any sets that come with them. I only like the Satin Caress panties that are sold in Sears. Sometimes satin Gilligan O' Malleys and other brands as long as they are satin. No cotton.

Yes to thongs, Laurie Ann has it right. I wear my thongs at all times. My wife sees me in them. Oh, just sooooo nice! I even have some male type Calvin Klein thongs for wearing every so often. Not too often, mind you, give me the satin, lace, cotton, lycra, nylon, leather, of my fem panties. LOVE EM!

hey, at the risk of letting slip my true vintage :rolleyes: does anybody remember when all girls wore girdles just because it was the fashion. I remember confusion when I encountered a girdle, then tights (pantyhose) and then panties. Three layer armour. Why? Was it a defense mechanism? Did their Mums say that no nice girl goes out without triple protection?

For me it depends on what else I'm wearing. If it's a skirt I definitly prefer the open bottom girdle,(maybe with a padded panty underneath).Other than that I go for the panties,mostly full bottom coverage type.Have never really felt that comfortable in a thong.

I've worn panties to the physician's office the last two times. Once for a full body skin cancer check where I had to strip down to my black nylon panties. The technician and the RN (both females) clearly took note - I was stretched out first on my back, then stomach, then sitting - but didn't say anything.

The second time I wore biege nylon panties for a physical with a male MD, including a rectal exam.

No problem either time.
