I like to post positives. We hear enough negatives as it is so I try to keep my posts as positive as I can. While this one will start out sounding negative it really was a huge positive.
After I left Escapades last night I stopped at a Mexican all nighter to pick up some burritos. I walked in there and was, of course, the only dressed individual there. But I've been there dozens of times and have had talks with the owners, who are curious about my dressing. As I'm standing in line to order I hear some hoots and hollers coming from a table of girls. I look over and kind of shrug my shoulders and wave. After I pick up my order one waves me over.
So I walk over to their table and we start talking. Then behind me I hear some guy say, "You make me sick." I turn around and sitting at the table is a guy who looks like Biff from 'Back To The Future'. Now I'm all of 5'7" and 150 pounds and this guy has to be pushing 6'2" and 200+. So I say, "What did you say?" Then he repeats it.
Maybe it was a 'Back To The Future' scene where Marty McFly is called 'chicken' by Biff. Well I just tore into this guy. "You f***ing pinhead! You have no idea what living a life like this is like! You wouldn't last a f***ing minute living this kind of life! You know what makes me sick? Pinheads like you who have no f***ing idea what the f*** they are talking about!" And on and on. I was pissed!
So one of the owners comes over and gently breaks it up and escorts me to the door. When I get outside there's a squad pulling up. The cop asks me why I parked like I did (in front of the door) and I told him I was just running in to get some burritos and leaving. He said okay and I pulled away. I'm sure he saw I was in no mood to be messed with. I know my rights and was not afraid of any cop who wants to hassle me and I think he sensed this.
Yes, we are going to run into that occasional bonehead but if you saw the look on this guy's face you would have known I drove home a point. Score one for our team!
