2017
So I have been out and about allot more the past few years. My clothes are now open in the closet, I keep my body a bit more femine, and I am just more open with the people that know...so what are we going to do more of in 2017? For me it will be getting out and about more in Dallas and accepting myself instead of 2nd guessing...what abut you?

Interesting question Trisha and one I was pondering earlier today. My primary objective for 2017 is to see how I can reduce/remove my body hair. It is a very big challenge as my wife likes it and has not even agreed to my thinning it. I really detest it (particularly my chest hair) but I shall keep trying. That and try get Becky out more than the two outings of 2016.
-
Keep on doing what I do I suppose no special plans for 2017.
-
I am not one to make resolutions but......
I have noticed that since I retired from a very physical job 3 months ago that I am getting a little soft in the middle eve though I have maintained my weight. My shaper and panty hose seem to bunch up, push out, and misshape. Hoping to start a minimal exercise routine to combat the muffin top.
Still dadt at home so plan to just keep enjoying special time when I can.
-
Try to lose the weight I put on in 2016.
-
I intend to lose a few pounds, christmas is a bad time for those who love sweet things! And I want to get out more often, apart from that not much else.
-
More of the same. I have no intention of outing myself; haven't gotten any good responses yet, so why believe that will suddenly change. With the more outward conservative folks now being excessively vocal about how much they hate us since the last election, with their bathroom bills and all, I'll stay where I am. My closet's got plenty of room.
-
Probably more of the same.
'Bout time I had my ears pierced. :-)
-
Keep doing what I've been doing. Just want to do it BETTER!:D

That got me thinking. The most obvious thing is the perennial lose weight. After that, I have three CD-specific things to do.
(1) A full body wax.
(2) Improve my make-up skills (perhaps a visit to MAC or Sephora?).
(3) A day out en femme.
Will I do all three? Not certain but they are on the To do List.

For me this coming year.
1) get a full makeover transition, have wanted to do it for so long this is the year.
2) three trips outside dressed
3) weight loose 15 pounds

I would like to get out more but in reality that's unlikely to happen. However on the occasions I do get out I want to present as well as I can. So, loose weight; I was going to do that last year but fell short of my goal. Hopefully this coming year I'll have more resolve. As for going out, when I do I want to interact with the muggles more. I've been into countless stores shopping, talked to a few SA's, used the changing rooms and of course the ladies powder room. Dined in cafes and restaurants, been to the cinema. It all seems a bit arms length. As if I'm in my own little bubble. I'd like to have a conversation that was more than a handful of sentences.
I have it as part of my plan to use public transport more. Not to rely upon my 4 wheeled safety cage to get me about. It would also be nice to spend a day with others from here. I've been to support groups but that's a closed environment. It would be a step up to meet in the muggle world, chat over lunch, hit a few shops, evening meal and drinks. That sort of thing.
And of course it goes without saying that I'll keep seeking the wonderful support and advice of all those here. Happy New Year to you all.

I forgot one.... A fellow member has contacted me and it's probable we will meet sometime in the new year. That would be a major step for me having been in virtual (actual...) isolation for so long.

Becky, I agree, I am down to my forearms and legs, below the short line. I trim my legs and just started doing my arms. I also went for eyebrows this year. I am always worried my friends will notice which is worrisome....most are my working counterparts so they can't know unfortunately.
to everyone else , yes always looking at my weight, this year I joined crossfit and have implemented many of the workouts. I am more physically fit and flexible and at 50 that is good. 2017 will be to lose 5-10 pounds...so I look better in my clothes...

Not dying.
Get my house sold and move somewhere I am not surrounded by racist, millenial, redneck trash.
Lose 100 lbs.
Go on a vacation as Allison from start to finish.
Find a new job. One that has a decent paycheck that I don't completely hate.
Go to the therapist completely dressed, not just 50/50 mode.
-
Lose 28 pounds, and keep them lost!
Have at least one Judith day per month.
Fly en femme
Learn how to do brows and strip eyelashes properly

Having my ears pierced has been on my mind recently....you never know

Two years into this and I move freely about the world, fooling no one, being treated well by most (I am not naive enough to think there are not eyes being rolled behind my back). My marriage remains rock solid (and for that I am forever thankful) and my life is pretty good. My resolution for 2017 is nothing more than to try and be better, be more giving, be more helpful to those that I can help. The kids are set up well in their careers, the wife and I are focused on the next stage of our lives: us. My health is (knock wood) excellent and I get to do the two things that make me the happiest, run/race (intend to run my first full marathon in 2017) and be Kandi. I have been given so much and nothing makes me happier than to make some one else happy. I call it my "selfish unselfishness". So I will continue to be selfish in this way and hopefully bring some happiness when I can.

Yes more time out and about and looking forward to summer for swimming and going for dinner and movies more.
-
I'm going to do the same thing I do every year, try to take over the world. :o

Hi Trisha:hugs:, My main goal for 2017 is to RING IN 2018 ...:daydreaming:...
-
I want to do the following in 2017:
- Get out into the world more frequently
- Meet more of you like minded people
- Continue to improve Lauren in big and small ways
- Become more compassionate with others in a world that seems to grow colder day by day
While I have only been here a short time, I have learned a lot from you all. This is appreciated so much. I can only hope that I can return the favor in even a small way.
Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Years to all.
Lauren

My goals are 5, 70, and 175.
1. The 5 is a sub-5 hour marathon. My prior times are 6:23 (2005) and 5:36 (September 2016). The marathon is 4/9 so I've got 3+ months to get it done.
2. The 70 is a triathlon score. Every sanctioned triathlon (I do shorter ones that are generally between one and three hours) has a "par" score on a scale of 100. My best score is a 67, and my three this year were in the mid-60's.
3. The 175 is my goal weight (currently 193, down from 225 in 2012). At 175, I'd be about 20% body fat, and would give me a good chance to meet goals one and two--and I might fit into a size 12, which is another good reason to lose the weight. 😄

My limited wardrobe is a mess. Nothing matches with anything else, or is the wrong size (mail order purchases). My 2017 goal is to just make a few purchases which match with everything else I purchase. I should then have an outfit for all occasions.
For a fantasy 2017, a professional makeover and photoshoot, no limitations, just to show (to myself) that I don't need to look like the old lady next door (bless her, such a sweetie).
