It's only taken 30 years
Yes, 30 odd years after discovering my love of women's clothing and it's finally happened.
Some of you may remember that I built a false back into my wardrobe in my old house. This allowed me to lift a shelf and access a 1m x 1m x 20cm storage area that was totally hidden and secret. This was built after my then wife discovered my stash hidden in a drawer.
Well, things have changed and now... I have my own lingerie drawer, and my blouses, shirts and skirts are all folded in their own drawers!!!
Moving house after splitting with my Ex-Wife has been a bit of a slog at times what with decorating my daughter's room and the living areas downstairs, but I'm finally getting on with my own bedroom.
I'll unfortunately not have my wardrobe etc sorted any time soon because I am prioritising my future step-daughters room (because a good parent will always put their children first), but it's a start.
An amazing feeling, and so nice not to have to hide my things away.

Well, Charlotte, you don't want to rush these things do you?
And if after 30 years you have to wait a little longer then as long as it all plays out to your satisfaction then it'll be worth the wait. But that said, hopefully sooner than later eh!

That's great to hear, Charlotte!
For me it was just under a year ago that I cleared out the "junk drawer" under my (male) underwear drawer and started to populate it with panties, stockings and my first "real" bra. I'd had "the conversation" with my wife about how my dressing had become a bigger part of my life and with her (gradual) acceptance I too gained a knicker drawer and a section of the wardrobe for my pretty things.
IIRC from previous posts your new partner's fully accepting of you, so maybe a Hers'n'Hers section of the new wardrobe when you finally sort it out? :heehee:

That's great and I'm sure it's going to be very exciting when you finally do get to it. For myself I still have some boots and shoes stashed around but a few years back my mother in law was throwing out a huge armour. My wife wanted it and I didn't want to move this huge thing. She told me we could put it in our spare room and if I keep things neat I could put all my fem things in one place and to the children it will look like her extra clothes. Well you know I become superman and brought that thing myself in the room and it was amazing fun setting it up and having a bra and pantyhose drawer and all my skirts and dresses hung up neatly. It's worth the wait I'm getting excited for you just remembering doing it myself.

I have you beat Charlotte- the wait was 37 years for me! After finally having the talk what an amazing feeling to not have to hid everything. After moving across country and other family living arrangement changes, currently not dressing, but still comforting to see my dresses hanging next to my wife?s.
Best wishes as you move forward with everything.

Good for you Charlotte.
I agree it's wonderful not to have to hide all the clothes.

Good for you Charlotte! Such relief full disclosure can bring!

Charlotte, I'm so happy for you. I can't even imagine what it has to be like to hide your femme things, yet alone for so long.
It's great you don't have to do it anymore and I'm looking forward for your update "finally I've got my dress hang up in my wardrobe" :)

Hi Charlotte :hugs:, Better late than Never,

OK, I'll say it again.
Our clothes belong in the closet, not us!
Hope you have makeup spread all over the bathroom sink counter soon.

Charlotte, I'm glad you finally have your clothes out in the open.
