ongoing acceptance

hello all,
This is remarkably unremarkable!
Normally my wife and I shop separately (on an understood but never stated Don't Ask Don't Tell basis). I went shopping with my wife recently to buy some long sleeved tee shirts. We went straight to the women's clothing section of the shop and chose some for me; my wife even helped me choose them. She even told me that she prefers to buy men's tee shirts because they are longer in the body than women's, but long sleeve ones are hard to find. I also needed some deodorant so my wife suggested that we share hers (because I always prefer women's scents).
And on some days when we are not doing much I have been under-dressing in a bra and my wife has know this; nothing has been said and it is not a big issue.
Life is good!

Jacques, That sounds like some ok acceptance, everyone’s DADT is different, yours does not sound too bad.

Wow J, life is good. That kind of acceptance coming into your life has got to feel great. I pray every day for such from my wife. I suspect others here will tell you not to push it too much as things can overload our spouses quite easily. But your future sounds great. Enjoy the feeling.

Small but important steps, and Traci is right, don’t push it too hard, but it sounds promising and after all any acceptance is better than none!

Some small steps are important steps so congratulations on the new level of acceptance Jacques. I am in a similar but different level of acceptance. I cannot imagine my wife going out shopping with me, even separately, but she is okay with me wearing Mercedes clothes while we are together.

Small, but important steps. Hope you can continue the progress. Suggest thought that you don't push too hard too fast. Let her take it at her own pace.
