Simple Things

Sometimes simple things are the best things. Especially when they've been denied to you for a while. I mentioned in an earlier post that I fell and broke my hip and shoulder. Since then, I've been too sore to get dressed all the way. But today I'm feeling much better. I managed to get into a DD bra and forms, red lipstick and a wig. I still look too beat up for a photo, but gee it feels good to be dressed like me again. Especially the breast forms. I topped it off with one of my favorite church dresses. (But stayed home.) Yeah, just a simple old girl, enjoying her Sunday. It feels wonderful. I hope all of you ladies are enjoying your Sunday too.

There you go. We will have you back on both feet in now time.

Stay on the mend. One broken part of the body is back enough, but two? Yes, "simple things" are terrific if one cannot be totally en femme, especially for long periods of time. If I was not able to snuggle and sleep in a long nightgown every night, it would be a rough time of denial of self.

It IS the simple things. I usually dress daily for the last few months, but not at work. For the longest time , underdressing (panties ) daily worked. I?ve added a butterfly with gemstones necklace as of late, and now can?t be without it. Whatever works , that?s what I say, and nobody else has to wear it.

Enjoy what you can! Hope your hip and shoulder continue to heal quickly and completely.

And you're correct of course. It is so often the little things that give us the most satisfaction. While we ll enjoy dressing I also gain a great deal of satisfaction undressing at the end of the day. Taking off jewellery, shoes, doing the things that GG's do enhancing my femme side.

Other things: crossing smooth shaved legs, the moment you've stepped into heels and your posture changes. Moments in time that add to the overall experience in ways greater than their duration.

I am so glad you are healing. As for the simple things, it is too bad we do not realize the importance of them while younger. None the less, it is very nice that we do eventually realize the importance of the simple things. Rather ironic that the simple things are the best things.
