Trip to San Fran
In September i am going to Stanford for some medical testing. I will be in Palo Alto for two days then on day in San Fransico. While i know San Fran is lgbt friendly I rally want to dress somewhat female. I want to wear something like girls shorts and a fem top and bra. Light makeup. I been out dressed fully but it only been on night like Halloween or a transgender event. I have never done it during the day but really want to my first time. Anyone has any suggestion to help me out.

You're best area is the Castro, very friendly and lots of good bars and restaurants. Hope your tests go well and enjoy SF.

San Francisco in 2015 was my first real time to get out other than Halloween. I organized a makeover at Sephora and spent a day and a half wandering around downtown without an issue.
The whole city and area is LGBT friendly. Just figure out what you want to do--I suggest going for it and going fully dressed--and you are very unlikely to have an issue.

Just do it. I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and I wear dresses all the time and present as a woman. I have NEVER run into problems in a relatively conservative area, so I say don't worry about going to San Francisco en femme. I have even flown en femme under my real male name of John with no problems.

Hope everything goes well (esp. your tests)

nobody will care they might notice but they won't care They have their own problems to deal with, why deal with yours.

My suggestion is simple: go out in daylight hours and frequent busy places. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but daylight and crowds are your friends.
