My goal this month.
So. Halloween month. The time of year that Kimmy gets to go out as few times as per the agreement that I have with my wife. I have had a goal for years. On one of the Friday nights remaining this month I intend to dress in one of my favorite outfits... a green leather look jacket with a black overbust corset peaking through, black leather skirt, and my long red wig.... Then I want my wife to drop me off at the far end of our local mall and leave me to walk most of the length of the mall on my own, before meeting me inside the Barnes & Noble for hot chocolate (I hate coffee) and a new book. For me this will be new ground. I have never been more than a few yards from my wife when dressed in public. I want to see how many people even notice honestly. Most won't. Not that I look great, but most folks don't look past their phones any more.
I did hit the bookstore like this last year. But did not do the full walk down the mall first.
This is my goal.

Sounds exciting
How long / big is the mall ??
-
That sounds like a good goal Kimmy, good luck and I am sure you will enjoy it.
-
Sounds fun. have a great time.
-
King, enjoy the heck out of the night but be proud and prepared for the great likelihood that no one reacts at all, especially if you're feeling comfortable and confident!

Every year when Locktober comes around I think this might be the year the I can spend Halloween dressed (locked) as a sexy maid and be out in public all day.

This would be a huge fantasy for me. No doubt something that will never happen.
But it sure does sound like fun. Let us know how it works out for you. :)

Since Halloween is on a Friday night this year, I am guessing more than usual will go out dressed up for the occasion. Halloween is great cover for crossdressers and a lot of fun. I wish I could go clubbing again in my red devil girl outfit like I did in 2022, but it is not going to happen : (
Have fun with going out.

Have fun, Kimmy and enjoy it to the fullest. I already know you will feel incredibly free :)

It was on Halloween that I decided to interact with fellow humans. Before that my outings were limited to evening drives and strolls in a safe neighborhood. The first time out on Halloween I wore a long sleeve jade dress with a black floral pattern, black heels and hosiery, a blond wig and full makeup to include fake nails. I remember years later, when I was standing by a group of female coworkers at a grocery store, they were sizing up whether a fellow male coworkers was a cross dresser because he was too well put together. The probably was a case of unintended self-outing.

I have noticed, depending on how you are dressed most folk won't notice anything. I have been out and about a bit and I am almost disappointed how little I get noticed. I do dress down usually slacks a conservative shirt and makeup. I have been noticed but I think its because of my ravishing beauty :} and not my CDing But how who really knows

A florescent pink skirt or pants gets people's attention. I got mine from JoFit. I also bought the matching sleeveless top. I just checked my shoe collection. I have a pair of strappy pink high heels to complete the outfit!

It?s good to have goals. Sounds like a nice outing, particularly topping it all off by having hot chocolate with your wife at B&N.
-
Enjoy the stroll Kimmy and i hope there is a big smile on your pretty face the whole way.
-
Hi Kimmy :hugs:, That sounds like a Wonderful Plan.
-
I hope you have a wonderful walk.
-
Nice to see Carla takes her duties seriously.
I always enjoy women commenting on us Halloween girls more than once I have heard them say he walks so good in those heels it cannot be his first time or his makeup looks too good.
Enjoy your outing Kimmy it sounds like a wonderful time.

In my experience some folks treat u very different when you're out alone compared to being with a GG!

Update. Tomorrow (Friday night)I do it. Plans have changed slightly though. Not in a bad way. due to my wife wanting to use her Kohl's dollars that is where we will start the evening. yes, I am going inside with her. That will be new to me. then, I have reservations for my wife and I at the local Saltgrass Steakhouse for supper under her name. Ought to a lot of people there so it will be interesting to see how this works out. Then to the mall. Barnes & Nobles was my original goal after walking through the mall first. But now we have added three more stops. My wife wants our fall supply of scented soaps, so we will be going into Bath and Bodyworks. She and I are also going to a performance of Rocky Horror Picture show next week on Halloween, in costume of course. I already have the requisite fishnets needed for the show. She doesn't, so we are also now stopping at Torrid. I look forward to being able to actually look at clothing and mean it, not act like I am looking for my wife. Last, and this is not a real "inside" stop, but I want a darned cookie from Blondie's. it is nothing but a storefront so it may not count, but still...
This is going to be the most, and the longest that I have ever been out and about as Kim. My wife actually shocked me tonight. Not only is half these stops her idea, but when I asked her what she wanted me to get out of our Halloween closet she told me nothing. It is her plan to dress normal, saying that any "costume" she wears will only draw attention towards us (me) and it will be easier for me to blend in this way..... HOLY SHIT! For over thirty years now the only way Kim got to come out to play in public has been near Halloween (more often on occasion like Rocky Horror) with the holiday as an excuse. Tomorrow no excuses since she is not joining costume escape route. If/when I am noticed I just am. I am really looking forward to this, and maybe if it works out well it can lead to future outings throughout the year.

have fun!
<color me green with envy>:heehee:

Enjoy yourself Kimmy! Being out in public can exhilarating. You might have second thoughts as you get ready but just go ahead and do it!
-
Just remember you have every right to be out and about. After 10 minutes you will find yourself feeling normal, trust me.

RESULTS! I had one of my best nights ever. We started out at Kohl's as intended, but the plan veered slightly at that point. We had left late, and so I sent my wife into the store alone to get her Santa jar... Not a huge loss. Dinner was fantastic. The manager came around to talk to us two or three times. So I am sure I was made. My voice, even when I try to talk in a slightly higher pitch, is a giveaway. But to the staff's credit, not one raised eye. No comments. And no saying of the dreaded word "sir". After dinner we went directly to the mall. This morning my wife had shown some reticence about my going with her to Bath and Body shop and Torrid. Our mall has been the scene of three different incidents over a span of five years. But I convinced her that our time in the actual "Mall" would be small. And any real troublemakers would not likely be in the two stores we wanted to visit. She left it up to me so we entered through the bookstore and went right into the mall. At Bath and Bodyworks.... Nothing. No looks, no noises, nobody noticed anything out of the ordinary. It was freeing. We left there and headed to Torrid. Yeah,,,,,, I have never been in a position to look as closely at the clothes I like as I did tonight. I looked closely, I held dresses up to myself and asked my wife's opinion about how they would look on me. We found her fishnets quickly. Then as I was showing her a dress I really liked, she saw the one next to it. Crushed velvet, with patterns of bats, cats, moons, and other witchy/Halloween items all over it. We left it at that point due to cost..... As I was busy looking at a sheer black blouse I wanted, the sales associate came over and complimented me on my green jacket. Asking if I bought it there last year. I hadn't, but I still said maybe. I was tagged by her by then. But she didn't care. And after asking what we could be helped with she found a sale for the dress my wife wanted for forty percent off. SOLD! I bought the blouse I wanted, and I love it. And being a slow night we talked with the two sales people about various topics for about twenty minutes before leaving. After that I got the cookie I wanted so badly. Got called a lady by the sales lady. And headed back to B&N for a book. Unfortunately they did not have what I was looking for. Their stocks of books have really went downhill, and I didn't have time before closing to look for a good replacement. Still, as I told my wife this night was something I am now able to mark off on Kim's bucket list. And I loved it. Now for my next adventure, Saturday Night I go up to Douglas Michigan for their adult oriented Halloween Parade in my actual costume..... A wind up doll. Pictures inside of B&N attached (I hope).
