Golf Trip

It's been a while since I posted here but this was a good one.

I just got back from Mrytle Beach on a golf trip with 15 guys and me. Last year I told them that Glenn wasn't coming back to play with them. So, when I was invited. I asked the organizer if he was sure because he knew me as Glenda. He sure if I felt comfortable. I knew some of the guys and a few knew Glenda. I met some new people, and everyone was great with me.

In drove down with 3 of my friends from here in my truck. Staying overnight in a hotel. They gave more time to get ready.

When playing golf, I played from the same tees the guys were. Since I was the oldest one in the group and a transwoman. I was driving ball further than most but the youngest plus scoring lower scores.

Some of them had questions for me. Some said I was brave to do this at my age. Noone had a bad word about me.

They had a hot tub that we all used.

All in all, I had a great time. And will do it again next year.

Can I ask what courses you played? I live in a gated golf course community a little bit south of Myrtle Beach. Just curious if you would have played my home course.

I am so glad you were able to enjoy a golf outing with the guys as your real self. Imagine all those earlier years when you wished that was possible. Now that wish has come true.

Nothing like a positive and happy outting to start a Sunday morning. Sounds like you have great friends and they are right about your courage and confidence. You should be very proud of yourself. Keep the happy stories coming.

We played all 4 Barefoot courses Mooreland and Leopards Chase and one in Ohio on the way down

Glenda, sounds like you have a tremendous group of friends how wonderful it must of felt being the real you among a group of your buddies. Im very envious I would love to golf dressed in a cute golf skirt and top sounds very exciting.
