I'll make you a deal

Yesterday my wife needed to do a bunch of Amazon returns and some errands and asked me if I could drive her. Instead of her trying to find a parking and wasting time I could just drop her off at the front door and she could save time. I told her I was tired and she asked me if I would bring her if I take her and I dress up. You know I wasn't tired anymore and within minutes I was all dolled up and ready to go. It was dark and my wife's car has tinted windows but I must admit it was amazing parking in front of those stores and people walking by me and I tried to show my confidence like I was taught here and I didn't care if someone looked at me.
My wife felt as if she had to make an excuse if we meet someone we know and she came up with I lost a bet to her and she had to dress me up and drive her around. I don't believe anyone would buy that but it did give me a little more confidence.
The funniest part of the night was when we were at a red light and I look over at my wife and she's looking up out the window and says " look at this perv getting off looking at your legs".
I was wearing a jean skirt with a split in the front and then my wife reaches over and closes the split to cover my legs and then gives the driver the finger. I was like WOW! "Your jealous, HA,HA. That's something a man would do to his wife. She told me she wasn't jealous and to be quite and keep driving and keep my skirt closed. I thought that was funny. It was great even though I never left the car but just being dressed and first time being so close to the public was amazing. My wife thanked me for driving her around but I told her that I owe her the bigger thanks. It really did feel good to be out for a while. Let's hope she was more Amazon returns soon but you just don't know when something like this will happen again so I took it all in.

Maria, as stated before, you and your wife have the best adventures. She certainly knows how to bribe you. A win for the both of you. If your wife is like mine, more Amazon returns are around the corner. I would gladly drive my wife anywhere if she told me to dress up. Oh to dream.

Your tale points out something that closet dressers don't get to experience. U never know what folks reaction to your dressing will be.

Your SO sounds like my ex when we attended a large Halloween affair, Maria. We exchanged genders and I was a female perody. U know, ballon boobs, 5 oclock shadow, etc. This was WAY before I became fascinated with women's things! Anyway, the party rocked and we'd been drinking when some guy came up and popped my boob. I thot it was funny but my ex was playing her guy role and wanted to punch him out for getting fresh with me!:eek:

So Maria, here?s your next big deal maker. You got to get the wife to shop together on Amazon for girl clothes that way you both have returns to do. Of course that means getting to test drive you and her new clothes out in that big world of out of the closet. Nobody really cares out there. They?re to busy with all their stuff going on in life. You might try a girls run for some take out.

That is a really nice thing to be able to do, I am so happy for you to have that kind of support from your wife, I recently had a day out on my own fully dressed in the car, oh my goodness it felt so amazing and empowering for me, but it would have been so nice otherwise have some company too, thanks for sharing

Interesting ordeal, Maria. But the "lost a bet" excuse seems pretty lame if you got caught. I could be very wrong on this and forgive me if I'm reading too much into it. But, to me, it pretty much has I'm a CD and just waiting to get caught and come out written all over it. Especially if you and your wife are different sizes and you are dressed from wig to nylon toe in a complete woman's outfit. That takes planning and shopping.

As crossdressers we seem to have an astonishing ability for being self-centered and totally oblivious of our wives' feelings. I may be mixing stuff, but it seems to me that it's not the first time you mention being exposed to the view of a truck driver or whatever male could peek at your thighs while you were driving dressed with a skirt, not mentioning one time also at a gas station where your skirt flipped up in the wind while you were not alone. If I was your wife, I couldn't help thinking it's a thing for you, maybe exciting you or giving you some feeling of validation, so, the way she reacted in your account of the current episode doesn't come as a surprise. You seem to find her reaction amusing, but I wonder how you'd react if she drove in the same kind of outfits and found herself in the same situations as you.
