Developments ...

Hi Girls, feel I need to share this with you because a little bit of a crisis has happened in this household and I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

I shared a few days ago that I was a little concerned that my 10 year old son might search out stuff that I wouldn't want him to see. So I went out to get a storage pen device yesterday so that I could remove them and keep them safe. While I was out .... you can imagine the rest. So he tells his Mum and they go through my girlie posie pics - like the ones you've seen. So as you can imagine, the atmosphere is frosty round here at the moment! My wife has never seen me dressed and says that she never wants to - so now she has but not in the way I would have wanted

Interestingly, he thinks that Dad is seeing another woman so I must be quite hard to read if my own son doesn't recognise me. My wife thinks they are pornographic images which they are not. She would rather my son think Dad is seeing another woman than that he is a crossdresser!

So yes, I should have taken more care but I'm sort of ok about it in a way but obviously we've got some serious talking to do

I have three girls and was caught wearing my black skirt. My wife was not happy, but we worked it out.Just talk to her , explain it to her and your son when you both decide how and when to tell him.you will always be wearing skirts/dresses, you just need to find a way to make it work.

I really feel for you, as I have been down those frosty roads and I really believe that with time the frostiness will melt away, but it is a very difficult place to be and very unpleasant. We are here for you.:love:

Mitch, ignoring it will not make it go way. Now that it's out, you and your wife need to sit down and have a heart-to-heart talk. Just the fact that she sees your pictures as pronographic tells me that she grossly musunderstands what cross dressing is all about. Gather some material and talk, talk, talk.

Some good has come out of your pain. It reminded me to take care of the disk that have my pics on them, some of the pics are porn. They are all in a safer place. I hope,all of them,safe place I hope. hang in their Mitch.

Mitch you've got to talk to her otherwise it could stay frosty for awhile. I imagine she is very shocked from what she has seen and if her interpretation is that they are pornographic she is possibly worried and scared. Just talk to her and be as honest as you can and re assure her.

Sorry Mitch for the quirky turn of fate, but you've read all the advice before and even offered some good advice yourself to others. Yes, talk is the first priority, then you need to listen to your SO with your ears and then again with your heart. Finally, we all know that patience and love will be required to get things back on track. We love you and each of us will keep you in our thoughts as you deal with this. :love:

Thanks girls for all your kind and encouraging words. In fact things have got back on an even keel here very quickly. I patiently answered all her questions and reassured her. Her main worries were that someone had been in her house and taken the pics. She couldn't believe that I had taken them myself with a tripod and a time delay. Also that they were for posting 'all over the internet'. I assured her that they were mainly for my own pleasure except that the best ones have and will continue to be posted here for you girls to enjoy and comment on and that if she wants to visit this site she is more than welcome or to join up and join in. She really is an amazing woman and I love her to bits!

And the bottom line is - SHE HAS NOW SEEN ME DRESSED! And nothing has been said about that at all!

Your wife can no doubt deal with it, but 10year old boys can be unpredictable
and they are not stupid, your main worry is if he tells any of his friends what he has seen so i would keep an eye out for that happening .

Further to joanne's comment, if you believe that he did not recognize you in the pictures, then you are probably safe for now.

However, unequivocally. in time, he will think back to what he saw and put two and two together. You should expect that. However when that moment comes. hopefully he will be of mind to understand. And if not, then you job will be to convince him that the pictures are of your long lost, identical twin sister who now lives in Munich.

I also think that your son's digging into things that are not his (in your bedroom?) is something that should be addressed. If you can do that without bring up the issue of the pictures, I'd say that would be something you and your wife should address.

That's excellent.

It was the shock of the moment. Often seem like the end of the world.
Glad to hear that things are coming back to track that fast. She's got to be very open-minded and understanding.
Don't worry too much about your son's reaction, especially if he didn't recognize you. By keeping a good attitude and reaction about the matter will set him to a good reaction too.

Well, Mitch, regarding your wife, sounds like more of a positive than a negative when all is said and done!!! The world didn't stop spinning, gf!!! Build on this -- slowly but deliberately!!! This is a golden opportunity!!!

Regarding your son, children that age don't have the same concepts and focus. I'd let it go and he'll probably forget it if it isn't brought up time and again. That said, "if" you and your wife were to agree that he should know, this would be a great opening to start educating him -- BUT your wife would have to be with you on this tact!!!
