Big Inner Thigh Muscles
Hello Ladies,
One of the issues I face is that I have large leg muscles that make it impossible to fold my legs in a convincing way and even difficult to keep my legs closed in a modest way due to large inner thigh muscles. It requires substantial effort to hold them closed.
I am working out on the elliptical several times a week to keep my weight trimmed, but I think I am working 1 issue while exacerbating another. I don't know of any ways to exercise but at the same time lower the mass of muscles. Do you girls have ideas?
Alternatively, would some sort of elastic around my upper thighs make it easier to hold my legs closed?
Any help you could provide would be appreciated!
Hugs,

Believe it or not, I've had sucess, using light dumbell weights 10-20 lbs, and doing a high amount of reps. The thought being I can tone my thighs down. I also have always had big thighs, although my problem was that they were all fat. I figure its a lesser of two evils to keep them muscular and toned.

I've got the same general issue, from years of cycling. Number one fix: Lose weight. I used to think all my leg bulk was muscle. Then, I lost 30 pounds, and found out it wasn't. #2. Lay off the weight training on the legs altogether. Walking, swimming, eliptical machine or anything else very low impact and low resistance.

Try Yoga
I think that the Yoga would give you a great workout and help lengthen the muscles that you're interested in working and also a great way to lose weight.

No Idea.
I have the same problem.
If I stop exercising I get a bigger midsection and I like exercising.
Therefore,
I do not cross my legs (I can't).
I keep my knees together and cross at the ankle with my hands on my lap.
