Definitely crossdresser. I underdress on occasion, but when girl mode is on for me... I want to be fully dressed up!
Crossdresser, absolutely crossdresser.
But since it started freezing I began wearing pantyhose even in drab mode, but only to keep warm, so some might consider it underdressing.
Mostly an underdresser, but not by choice. Society and my better half keep me restricted to mostly undergarments. I do wear women?s jeans and tops under my male tops, and carry a purse sometimes. Just an undresser itching to bust out.
I'm going to say 50/50 spilt. When I do dress at home it has to be all or nothing so that, would be the crossdress part, but I don't pass so when out I do usally underdress.
I used to underdress, it has progressed to all or nothing now though when I dress.
I am a crossdresser. Though, I always wear panties no matter how I'm dressed.
Definitely both. Always underdress: panties, bra, half or full slip & hose. After, depends on mood. Women?s tops are so soft and comfortable.
I always wear panties, but no other women's clothes when in drab mode. I also crossdress as much as I can -- with my wonderful and supportive and long-suffering wife, that means 2-4 days a week, usually. For me crossdressing is wearing women's clothes appropriate to the occasion. I don't wear skirts or fancier outfits to run errands. I never wear dresses, because I'm too overweight, but I wear skirts to go out for drinks or dinner, and sometimes during the day if I'm having a "nice" lunch with someone. Like all the GGs I see around, I don't wear heels out. Once in a blue moon, I'll see a 20-something in heels, but most of the time women wear boots, booties, sandals, flats, or sneakers. So yes, I'm a crossdresser, but I don't look like the stereotype with glamorous makeup, fancy dress, nude hose, and heels. That's my preference. I love seeing girls on this forum living their best life in fancy outfits. I do try to dress up when I go to the opera, a symphony concert, or other similar events. For those, I work harder on makeup, make sure my hair is nice, best clothes, and (short) heels. It's all about what's most comfortable for you.
Underdressed, panties and bra every day. cross dressed, is usually a bathing suit, rash guard and bike shorts, or tights. There is no way for me to try and pass, so I am content to my under dressing.
I'm curious where u found those definitions, Marie? Because I haven't heard those before. These r ones I'm familiar with:
Crossdresser: Person who dresses in opposite gender's clothes.
Underdresser: Crossdresser who wears their regular clothes to conceal the opposite gender's clothes they're wearing.
I tried underdressing for a week or 2 but found it disappointing and pointless!
Half cross dresser......meaning I wear all femme cloths.underwear, bra etc skirts & blouse or a dress and full make-up but never bothered with a wig or forms. Only underdressed a couple of times....didn't really do it for me.
As I’ve aged I find I’m all over the spectrum.
I wear panties all the time whether or not I’m en femme or male mode.
I only sleep in nighties
When I work from home I’m almost always in all feminine clothes, but I typically don’t do my makeup unless I’m going out to meet friends.
I am now to a point where I’m comfortable wearing half and half out in public. I will go shopping at the grocery store, buy gas, go to Target or the post office or even walk outside to a local spot for lunch in a male polo or tshirt (no bra) paired with a cute and comfortable skirt.
As I said I’m all over the spectrum.
I never had the desire for underdressing. It’s all the way or not at all.
I’ve only fully dressed on four occasions, each time a professional makeover. While I absolutely adored doing these makeovers, I have been an underdresser for the most part, typically wearing a bra, and occasionally other lingerie around the house with my wife’s complete acceptance.
I guess I'd have to say "yes" to this, but I don't get the chance very often. My wife does NOT approve.
I'll add that I'm probably more in agreement with the GG's though. Forms, pads, etc. do nothing for me and I'm usually relieved when the bra comes off.
I can't say that I so much "love" lingerie. It's better to say that my panties are just that - my underwear. No big deal.Quote:
Underdresser: Loves wearing feminine lingerie.
As for the rest of the underthings - not so much. Unless I'm getting a chance to go all out, I usually don't bother.
I’m an underdresser. I wear panties, bras, and leggings every day and sleep in cozy night gowns every night.
I put my panties on before my skirt.
Yes theyre pink.

I agree. Underdressing is crossdressing but in a limited way beneath (male) clothes.
Underdresser.
I do have a couple skirts and a pairs of jeans. Used to have a few blouses but wore mostly at home.
Nightgowns, panties, stockings and slips are my thing. My wife is fully supportive and it works for me/us.
I wear romantic lingerie to bed almost every night, so.... am I both? I do wear panties underneath my clothes when I'm out.
For me it is "all or nothing" when it comes to wearing anything more than nightwear. If I have the opportunity for a full day it is always a dress (no pants), hosiery and heels and all the proper undergarments: bra, slip and panty. It's always a wig, and I admit full makeup is too exhausting to apply and remove, so it is lip color which still gives of a scent and marks my coffee cup. Since my wife and I sleep apart, and she is a late riser I always sleep in a nightgown with a bra, panty and perhaps a full slip under the nightgown. Mentally, that is what I would expect to be "all or nothing" when retiring for the night.
do we have to choose?
Just an under dresser wearing panties and a bra. Been this way since a 10 year old boy now a 61 year old man
2 choices?
both undressing every day.
1st pair of panties was like 5+/- years old. That was 64-65 years ago, one of my playmates changed underwear and panties while playing in her bedroom.
I basically have a very big internal feeling of female in a male body.
Puberty was very hard on me.
Cloths are cloths, the internal feeling is always the same.
I do both I underdress when I can't crossdress
The underdressing concept is a bit obscure to me, since I don't especially want to interfere with other humans when dressing. So I dress privately and overdress.
I am both......... no question. I love wearing bra and panties every chance I get and I love to fully dress when I can.
Definitely an underdresser. I wear panties every day and I sleep in a nightie and matching panties every night. When my wife isn't home I also wear a bra and slip. I love to go out and about fully underdressed as long as my outerwear will hide the bra hooks and adjusters.
Now that I don't have any testosterone due to ADT for prostate cancer, my identity is all over the map, but mostly leans toward the feminine as expected. I often wear women's T's and sweatshirts, carry a gender neutral bag that most people recognize as a purse, and sometimes a touch of makeup. In a word, I dress androgynously because that is my identity form at this time. I have been on ADT for a year and have another year to go, but by then I will be over 80 and with such prolonged ADT it is possible testosterone levels may only rise a little after treatment. Fine by me.
When in private, which doesn't happen much as my wife stays home most of the time, I enjoy dressing all the way. But that does not fit my present identity form. Sort of like putting on a suit. It is nice socially, but not all that wonderfully comfortable for me and I only tolerate it for as little time as possible. Dresses are sort of like that, but tolerated more due to my feminine bias. My identity at present is like scrambled eggs and ham - a blend and so that is they way I dress with a mixture of male and female. One advantage of being old is that people tend to tolerate a lot, "He is just an old man and you know what that can be like." They can think that all they want, but at heart I am very much a woman. My male side used to be dominant; now he is faint and Gretchen is dominant in my sense of self.
With shoulder length hair and earrings, 24/7 my general presentation is androgynous. I only wear exclusively male clothes once a week or so for a volunteer gig. so it's a toss up. Or, both?:strugglin
I am predominantly a crossdresser, but have under dresses when the pink fog hit and I simply wasn't able to completely crossdress.
By Doc's definitions, both.
By the OP's definitions, neither.
Underdresser here. If like to venture into wearing blouse, ladies pants, etc., but that wouldn't go over well with my wife.
I am a crossdresser most of the time. Nearly always at home. Often in public, but as what I like to call, under the radar dressing.
It is not the same as undressing. I am wearing all womens clothes.
For example, yesterday I ran errands and spent an hour at a coffee shop. My outfit from bottom to top: black leather booties with 1.5 inch heels, womens knee high trouser socks, womens gray wool dress pants, panties, black bra, black cami, womens black merino wool sweater. A beaded bracelet of black jade, I was carrying my computer and planner in a black leather handbag. My under the radar makeup routine consists of moisturizing, light foundation, a bit of light concealer around my eyes, a touch of blush, barely noticeable contouring, finishing powder, eyebrow brush, very light mascara, a touch of my favorite perfume. I am not wearing one of my wigs.
The discerning female will most likely pick up what I have done. Men rarely notice a thing.
Repeat the above but go more casual with womens jeans and a womens flannel shirt. It works.
Completely Crossdresser.
Both. I have a lot of boy things to do. When doing them I always wear panties and pantyhose. I usually add a sports bra or a lace bralette. I switch to female mode as quickly as possible. This means adding a full coverage bra, breast forms, a wig, a dress or skirt and top, and ballet flats. I’m sitting here now in a long black skirt and a blue top and feeling on top of the world.
As one who dons her best femme look to go grocery shopping I'd say I am a dedicated OVER-dresser!
I would say both. And at times it also depends on the mood I am in and what has been going on with life.
Under dress most days at work. A bra in my natural size (38B) with panties and panty hose.
Totally in team crossdresser. Although I do wear fem undergarments under Mom jeans and top to walk my dog. I usually wear a cute top but cover up with a hoodie.
Yes........
If I am home I am 100% crossdresser. Completely dressed from the neck down.
No makeup or wig for me. Well very rarely a wig
If I am out in the wild I am definitely an underdresser.
I do not own any mens undergarments. So no real choice here :heehee:
Panties always. A bra with forms and a nightgown to bed. Fully dressed not often enough!
After years of crossdressing, I'm now trans I dress 24/7. When I cross dress, I wore women's cloths all the time. Jeans and tops.
Anymore, I am just an underdresser. My last purge got rid of my small, collection of a few dresses, skirts and blouses so now I am down to panties, bras and other lingerie that I will wear under my male clothes from time to time when I have an opportunity.
Yes. Both and either.
I'm complicated, I do both.
At home(family present)usually leggings and sweatshirt, T-shirt, racerback tank depending on the weather.
If I get Michelle time (home or away) I fully dress.
If I am away from my home area,(with wife), I mix it up, leggings , skinny jeans, knee high boots, uggs, women's sneakers, ladies tops( androgynous look), and a slimming camisole with very minimal concealer and foundation. No dresses, hose, bras, or wigs.
If I'm in an area where I'm likely to run into someone I know, I am underdressed.
I under dress every day as the only underwear I own are lace panties. I always wear a bra, forms, and a nighty to bed. In cooler weather I under dress with nylons and a bralette, too. I have fully cross dressed at home and have been out in public fully cross dressed but not often as I can't do so near home.
Has to be crossdressing to make my day complete. Underdressing just doesn't quite do what I need, but on rare occasion as with most others I will underdress with the understand it just isn't making it.
