Diane Marie myself. not to conserned with my last name to be honest lol. Diane cause its always been my favorite name and Marie cause its tradition in my family to name your daughters middle name Marie, and Moms happy that im continuing that so its pretty awesome.
I had become obsessed with Fado when I started learning Portuguese a while back and i loved Amalia Rodrigues's name, so I decided on Amalia.
I haven't come up with one yet.
I've no idea how I came up with Kate Longman, the name just sounded so nice, I used it.
I had never really thought about a femme name until I started going online about a year before I first started going out dressed and found I needed a name to sign to my posts and, eventually, emails. The female equivalent of my given name "David" is Vida. That sounded a little too unusual for me, but it suggested Vicki, a name with only pleasant associations for me; most notably an attractive redhead I knew in school. Since I planned on being a redhead myself, it just seemed to fit. (I later saw "To Wong Fu" and was glad I hadn't picked Vida because a.) people might've assumed I borrowed it from the Patrick Swayze character, and b.) I couldn't do justice to that character's sense of style anyhow!)
I chose to spell my first name with an 'i' because it seemed trendier and fit with an idea I had for a last name: I decided the two 'd's in "David" could be the 'c-k' in "Vicki" and then I took any leftover letters and rearranged them into Felaise. It was only later that I found out it was a real name. So I guess I have a whole other family out there? Maybe I should see if they have any reunions nearby!?! :D

BTW- I haven't added a last name, yet. maybe "Lyn" as I like that name as well and I flows smoothly

My name came from a series of names I made up in a MMORPG called Eternal Lands. I created a full alias to fit any situation of the online world. Naleen was actually the surname of my Male avatar, but now it sounds femme. "Naleen Atrens" is my current full female name.
I chose Emma just cause it felt right. It was also my great grans name and if I'd been a girl or had a sister they would have been named after her. I flirted with the idea of using Charlotte or Jamie (close to my actual name) but I trust my instinct for most things in life and they never really fitted. So I reverted to Emma:)
I just chose Elizabeth. I love the name, especially one friend who had it. Love saying it. I always said if I had a girl I will like to call her Elizabeth, since it didn't happen, I decided to take it.

Why? Because I find when I am shopping for a new bra and pantie set while en femme, or appearing for a reservation at a nice restaurant while en femme, referring to myself as 'Ralph' doesn't seems to have the correct ring to it.

I took a lot of time trying to come up with just the right name. There are lots of girl names I really like, but they didn't feel comfortable on me until I hit on the feminine version of my name -- decided to spell it with a "y" which helped me to feel even more feminine and then I realized, that was it! It felt right. If pressed for a middle name, I chose Kelly. So I would be Robyn Kelly. I like it.
The first time I completely dressed, head to toe, makeup etc, I looked in the mirror, smiled and said Hi Kathy! and that was that--Kathy I am!! Silly but true!:battingeyelashes:
I have a long history with the name Caroline. I first noticed it as a teen, in the song "Pretty in Pink" (I had a huge crush on Molly Ringwald). I had already started CDing on a regular basic. I was a bit of a loner as an early teen, and didn't have many friends. I lived in a rich fantasy world. In one of the fantasies I was a rock star and one of the members of my band was a tall, tom-boyish girl named Caroline Scott. Years after that, in College, I tried to write a comic book (which I later wrote out as a full length novel). Basically a Metaphor for my teen years. The main character was a 16 year old girl, otherwise normal, who had her genes spliced with a lion, turning her into a Lion Lady. Her name was Caroline Anderson. Years after that I added a middle name, Emily, after Emily Dickenson, since I fancied my femme persona to be something of a poet. So that's how I became Caroline Emily Anderson today.
Jeannie was a real estate agent I used to by a house with along time ago and it is totally different from my male name. She was very nice and helpful and I really liked her. I am trying to decide on a last name but haven't picked one yet. I am thinking of something on the order of Smith, Smyth or something like that.

When I first dressed I chose the name Maria, my sisters best friend but when I started to dress more seriously I chose Kellyanne as this was the name of a girl I knew from college and I liked it as I thought it was different and not as well used as other names at the time and as what usually happens friends call me Kelly or Kel anyway.
My surname of Stewart was my mothers maiden name and in case your interested I chose a middle name of Louise as this would have been my name if I had actually been born a girl.
I have recently thought of changing my name because I have been feeling it was a bit young for me but then I think why..... its part of me now.

I only decided on my name recently, my misses thought it would be easier if we were out and about,
Eventually decided on Bethany, it is a very similar structure to me real name, and i think it suits my personality, it even stats with the same letter which makes all my atm cards easy to use when out as her,
and more importantly i like the name.

I was thinking about this topic early this morning. Why we choose the names we have? Are we still happy with the ones we chose? Do they fit the feminine side of ourselves today? I recently chose the name Rayne (Ra-nay) but found out that someone else had already choosen it. I thought it was an original, but someone else here thought of it also; so I had to add a 1 to the end. That is alright, there are many others who choose similar names with others and have to change there's slightly. I think it is a fabulous name. I am not sure where I came up with it, but it seemed to fit me.
Someone should use the name Miss L. Toe.
I always loved the name Lily, it was pretty and sweet. I had debated long and hard between Lily and Lillium (A Type of Lily). But while I was debating the name Lillica came to me as a cute girly sweet name that would be cute and unique for myself.
Eventually after alot of though and feeling about with the sounds of names, I've settled on Lillica Kirsch Hart. Kirsch being german (Which my grandmother is) for Cherry (One of my favorite fruits.) and Hart because well... I'm to embaressed to use my real last name and well it's cute and is a real last name. :o
With my tongue firmly in cheek, I added a trailing 'a' to my male name. Don't think it's the prettiest girls' name in the world but my SO routinely uses it and a CD can't ask for much more than that.

I came up with my name for this site, I'd been thinking of a name for awhile but couldn't find one I liked. When I went to the chat site I couldn't log-on as Rebecca Sue or Rebecca so I looge-on as Rebekka which I like a lot better so Rebekka it is.
