The name I signed onto this forum with is the name of an elf protagonist from a story I wrote in high school. It's not a real name, but I think it's got a beautiful, musical quality to it, and I built it from two words I think both have good "mouth feel" (aria, a type of song, and mythe, French form of "myth" -- the character was a kind of bard, which as any D&D nerd can tell you is a singer of stories [I know, I overthought it]).
I've held onto the name over the years, even though I haven't written about the character in so long. It's special to me. It won't work as a "real" name, but right now it's the one I've chosen as I explore this part of myself.

My parents were told they were going to have a girl, so they picked Kristy as my name. When I was born the story goes my mother and everyone was quiet surprised when they saw I was a boy. For what ever reason they held off on telling me this story until I was older. At the time they told me the story I was not out as a trans person to any family member, SOOOOO can you imagine what my face looked like when they told me this. I'm so glad they told me and I get a good laugh now looking back but I wish I could of saw my face or had my picture taken at that moment I was told.
So before that information was told to me I went by Amy but since that day I've been Kristy just made sense
Love and Hugs Kristy

Growing up through the 80's and a fan of 80's sitcoms, I had the biggest crush on Alyssa Milano when she starred on "Who's the Boss". Still have that crush to this day as she aged pretty well. I am suprised however that my name gets mis-pronounced a lot. Didn't think it was that complicated :)

My female name is easy. It's a unisex nick name for my birth name with my middle name added on.

Cristine Larry. I was giving my name at birth by my mother. Yes, that's what it says on my Birth Certificate. And as I was growing up I was teased regularly because of my name. I learned how to hide my real name all through my childhood but I am proud today that I was blessed to be named Cristine. I would love to change my middle name though. I'm thinking of....Cristine Louise. What do you ladies think?

My female name is lilly anne paige. I didn't pick for any special reason but I like it.

My Female Name is Kate. I chose it because my partner and I used to laugh about it in "Black Adder" (UK television series). A young woman was pretending to be a male servant called Bob. She accidently let it slip that her actual name was Kate. When queried about it she said "Yes. Kate is short for Bob". Guess what my male first name is!

My name is Gloria because when i first went out to a party in 'drag' my wife centred on the name together with children and a couple we knew. I tried to convert it to Stephanie but my wife said I was 'Gloria' and that was it.
Gloria.

Gwen was a girl I admired in school and one I wanted to emulate.
She was the ideal perfect figure to me, and I always thought that if I
were a girl, I'd love to look like her.

I wanted an innocent name and a name that would describe who I am inside. I picked the name "Joy". It's simple and innocent and by bringing out my feminine side, I'm bringing more Joy to my life and I hope to the lives of others. Other girls tell me it that "Joy" is a perfect name for me. I'm so happy for choosing it.

Female name
I became Bee at an early age as I was raised by four older sisters, and Bee became easier than my full name. It was most likely Bea at first but by the time I could begin to understand letters it became Bee.

I used to wait for a girl with whom I'd then walk to school. Her name was Alexandra. Loved the name then and love it now. Alexs stands for Alexandra Santora. Alexandra--on this forum--was taken and I just like the sound of Santora.

My male name is a very common one like a James, John, Robert. When growing up I always wanted to change my name to something more exotic like Pascal or Reef or Lennox. Something with a bit more vibe and pace! So for my feminine self I tried to come up with a more unusual name that I haven't seen used alot. It was fun searching for a name!!
