A Lipstick Kissed Wineglass

Simple Pleasures.

Puffy clouds on a blue blue sky. Cherry Blossoms in Bloom. Double Rainbows but rainbows in general. The stillness of a heavy snowfall. The perfect golf shot. Friendly dogs and playful cats. Children who have not been ruined by adults. People who are trying to like themselves. Happy and sad tears that remind me I'm alive. Politicians whose love of America is greater than their love of power. People who understand that love is a gift and not an expectation. Advertising that is not manipulative and deceitful. Lawyers that quit to become carpenters. Random thoughts.

You need to write more threads like this. It flows smoothly and is very sensual and elegant. Thank you for that brief journey into one's self expression.

I love wearing lipstick, to me it is kind of telling the world " Here I am". For me it is a true statement of femininity plus it has the added protection from the sun. Funny thing is while I will wear lipstick I usually will not bother to wear lip balms to protect my lips from the sun, even though I should.

Ah yes. Sometimes it's the small things, the imprints of the woman in you, left behind for even a short time, that alert you to your own existence.

I love the feeling I get when I first notice the lipstick on my cup or glass! Also when I am only able to underdress and my bra strap slips and reminds me I'm waring a lacey bra!

For me, simple pleasures come within context. What could be lovlier than relaxing on the patio, enjoying a quiet spring evening, while sharing a glass of wine with a loved one, leaving two sets of lipstick imprints.

Oh yes! ... plus as you say, wine, chocolate, espresso, and black pepper ... and lipstick !! Btw .. in my glass in my avatar is Californian Pinot Noir :) I love these things in my life and it's so much better if you can enjoy them (all together) while en femme.

I couldn't agree more. I love wearing lipstick or lipgloss and leaving my telltale print is testament to the woman I feel I really am. A lip print on a glass or cup provides me with tangible evidence that I am all girl. I loved your post:)
